we're not sitting this week but will be back with the Mercury Experiment next week on the 7th November...

12th Sitting 24/10/2013

We had everything set up as usual and started with the ‘Rainbow Bridge’ exercise at 8.30pm.

Liz saw an enormous bridge like a highway with a white sports car on it. There were two Tibetan looking men with sunglasses and a lady with a red scarf in the car. They took Liz to a pearl palace with a shell pool inside encouraging her to bath in it as it gave her healing…

The first thing I noticed was it was night time and moonlight reflected on the water under the bridge. I made my way over the bridge and saw shooting stars each time I looked up. I was met by a friendly black panther with shining bright eyes. Behind the panther stood an American Indian with a headdress full of feathers and he gave me a feeling that things in the circle were progressing well before both he and the panther returned to their side of the bridge…

I did the opening prayer and put the music on.

I felt pressure on my forehead and a tickle down the back of my head.

The room was looking lighter and flashy each side of me but still dark in the centre.

Liz saw blue in the centre of the room and drifting shapes.

Liz saw a light fall down in front of her.

My right leg went fuzzy and cold.

I felt a pressure on my right ear.

Then I became very cold down my right side and had a feeling someone was standing to my right. This feeling and coldness on my right remained for most of the sitting while my left side remained warm.

It was a mild evening.

Liz saw a few flashes near where I felt someone was standing.

Then she saw a bright blobby form there which at times looked human shaped.

Liz saw a blue/white line of light flash above her.

I saw white wispy light on the ceiling.

Liz felt coldness to her left and felt there was someone there.

She felt tickles on her neck.

She got the impression the darkness in the room was slanting and sliding.

Liz saw a lot of pink/red to her right and was now feeling warm.

It developed into a pink/red ball that kept changing shape and moving round the room.

We both kept hearing a kind of muffled scraping noise coming from to the left and behind Liz at ceiling height. It was a windy evening and I later discovered in was something being moved by the wind in an air vent in the room next door.

I reported moving waves of light from my left and Liz saw them too.

I felt touches on my left leg, a fuzzy feeling on the left side of my head and cobweb feelings over my face.

I noticed a light flash on and off between me and the table.

Liz was getting hotter. She did have a blanket wrapped round her and her hood up which probably didn’t help!!!

We both reported cool breezes over our faces at about the same time.

Liz got the name ‘Suzanne’

I drifted off a bit during our penultimate tune and got the phrase ‘The ensemble have arrived’

Then I visualised children floating round and round above the table dropping daisies on to it. They were dressed in white night gowns then they slowly changed into white smoke which disappeared up into the ceiling.

The music ended and Liz did the healing exercise followed by the closing prayer and closing exercise.

I turned the red light on.

Unfortunately the table wasn’t covered in daisies!!!

11th Sitting 17/10/2013

We sat as usual starting at 8.30pm with the ‘rainbow bridge’ visualisation exercise.

Liz again saw Chinese ladies with parasols and a small elephant.

She felt she had people with her who had been involved with her science projects in the past.

Someone looking like a working peasant on a donkey came towards her who she then recognised as a young gypsy boy she had fostered many years ago…

For me at first it was very windy and stormy with waves in the water and a lot of birds flying around.

As I crossed the bridge the weather calmed down becoming warm and sunny but I didn’t see anybody half way across so kept going until I was stopped by a tall city gent with a bowler hat and two short men either side of him. There was something amusing about them reminding me of a ‘Monty Python’ sketch…

I did the opening prayer then put on the music.

I became very cold as I said the prayer.

We both reported a mottled light in the room.

Then we both saw ‘jelly fish’ type blobs expanding and contracting above the table.

I felt there was a presence to my right and the feeling remained throughout the sitting.

Liz noticed a movement to my right like downwards moving ripples.

Liz saw twirls of light and flashes above her.

I saw a wavy smoke type movement near the ceiling.

My right side was very cold and fuzzy.

I felt a tickle on my right foot then a fuzzy static electricity type sensation on my right leg near the foot which travelled up to my knee.

There was a big bright blob in front of me.

Liz felt she was surrounded by a fog.

She had a strong visceral smell which she associates with ectoplasm.

She felt a pressure on her chest.

Then Liz had a feeling of something solid on her head like a big hand or two small hands.

My back became cold.

I felt touches and fuzzy feelings on my right leg and foot again.

Liz drifted off into a light trance and felt she had a familiar person with her, an American Indian.

She saw a necklace made from teeth. She felt she was amongst fir trees.

She got the name Grey Wolf and felt he would communicate when the time was right.

Liz also sensed her dad around.

I was feeling more touches on my right foot.

I felt something in my right ear.

My nose was blocked and I felt fuzzy touches in my hair.

I saw white wispy movements around the room and an orange glow to my right.

Then I noticed dim lights between me and the table.

The luminous tabs on the table were going on and off.

It seemed to get misty in front of me.

I felt a cold fuzzy feeling move through me from right to left.

I picked up a sweet woody smell.

We both thought the room had suddenly become dark.

I now had a burning toast smell and felt warmth on my face as if something hot was in front of it. The rest of me was cold.

Liz had a large ball of light in front of her and a luminous green fog around her.

She felt several touches in her hair.

I drifted off slightly and felt feelings on the sides of my face like it was cupped in two hands.

The music ended.

Once we were both back with it Liz did the healing exercise followed by the closing prayer and closing exercise…

10th Sitting 10/10/2013

We were back to just Liz and I this week and started with the Rainbow Bridge Exercise at 8.30pm.

Liz saw a Chinese landscape with lots of happy people, parasols etc. Then it changed and she saw hospitals, nurses and centres of learning. She saw people she recognised then a young girl ran up to her reminding her of Alice in Wonderland. The young girl was connected to a children’s hospital. There were healers there as well who were part of our spirit team.

In my visualisation I found I was a giant and too big to get over the bridge then I shrank and became a midget. I stood by the bridge and waited till I was the right size before going over. (Liz pointed out the connection with Alice in Wonderland) I met my mother on the bridge and noticed that behind her were her mum and dad and behind them their mums and dads and so on in a never ending line.   

I did the opening prayer and put on the music.

I had a pressure on my forehead.

Liz was seeing a few mottled white shapes in the room.

She had a sense of movement in the room and saw a few blobs appearing.

She had the feeling of something arching over the table.

I saw waves moving down from the ceiling.

My legs were very cold.

I heard a click to my left.

Liz felt a cool breeze over her legs despite being wrapped up in a blanket.

We both felt cool breezes on our faces.

We both thought it looked misty in the room.

My arms went cold and I saw a kind of glow to my right.

I had a pressure on the top of my head.

There were lots of yellow and light blue blobs in front of me that changed to dark deep blue covering my whole vision for about one minute before breaking up and dispersing.

Liz felt she was climbing the mast of a ship looking up at the stars.

She then saw a moving spot of light on the table about the same size as the luminous tabs.

I didn’t see this but then we both reported seeing pin-prick sparks coming and going over the top of the table.

Liz felt cold and saw light on each side of her.

I felt tickles on the back of my legs.

Liz saw a blue grid in the middle of the room.

I was aware of light to my right.

Then I saw a moving luminous tab type light to my right for about three seconds.

Liz felt she was being overshadowed by a brown bear.

She saw a luminous green python and emerald stone.

I felt a few light touches on my right leg.

Both my legs felt fuzzy.

We both saw a few dim flashes and pin-pricks over the table.

Liz sensed a large beak in front of her and had the feeling of being lifted.

It was still very cold on my legs.

I felt tickles on my throat and right ear.

We both saw a dim column of light in the centre of the room and we both reported a kind of wispy smoke in the room.

Liz got the name ‘Cathryn’ or ‘Cat’ and she saw a nurse dressed in blue and white looking after children. She kept looking under beds for something.

I had another cool breeze on my face.

The music ended.

Liz did the healing exercise, closing prayer and closing down exercise…

9th Sitting 03/10/2013

Dan sat with us this week. He’s not planning on becoming a regular sitter but came along to experience it as he’d missed our MLC sit on Monday.

Liz and I sat in our usual places with Liz in the west, me in the east and Dan decided to sit in the north.

As always we started with the rainbow bridge exercise and reported what we’d experienced afterwards.

Liz saw a procession of people with Chinese type parasols including an elephant. These then became distant and she was aware of what she thought was a monk in brown robes on a brown donkey. She recognised the man as someone she knew who had passed.

Dan went halfway across the bridge and sat down. He couldn’t see clearly over to the other side as there was a shimmering translucent vale across it. Then a young boy came out of it looking for his mum. He sat with Dan for a while before going back.

I saw a young girl walking towards me who looked like an orphan with a dirty white dress on but as she got nearer she changed becoming brighter and cleaner and looked more like a fairy. She had a wand with a sparkling star on it which she gave to me before running back to a group of people on the other side.

I did the opening prayer before putting the music back on.

As soon as I did this I felt my legs from the knees down get cold.

Then both Liz and Dan reported cold legs.

I saw a few small thin black shadows moving around.

We all heard a loud thunder noise coming from the ceiling which got us all excited but we later found out there had actually been a thunderstorm overhead at that time!!!

I felt a pressure on my forehead.

The atmosphere looked misty and blue to me.

Liz was seeing white rippling shapes all over the room.

I saw white wispy bits near the ceiling.

Liz saw moving lights and pin-pricks above her.

Liz and I thought the room now looked darker.

It looked lighter to my right.

Dan was struggling to stay with it and drifted off a couple of times.

Liz saw a shape floating in the centre of the room.

Then she reported seeing smoke rippling upwards.

I could see something there as well which to me looked like a piece of net curtain moving around. It kept coming and going.

I could now see a yellowy mist in the room.

My right leg went fuzzy.

I felt a touch on my left hand and right ear.

Liz felt touches in her hair.

We all agreed the room had gone very dark.

Dan had a pressure on the front of his head and top of his nose.

He felt bunged up.

Liz had the impression of slanting energy in the room, she saw it like streaks of light.

Both Liz and Dan felt touches on the top of their heads.

I felt like something very cold moved past in front of me.

We all felt warm but our lower legs still felt cold.

It was a mild evening.

Liz had the feeling of a crow’s beak coming towards her.

The she had the impression of a tent in the centre of the room which was getting bigger.

It then became light, like fire light, and she felt we were now sitting in the tent surrounded by shadowy people.

She then felt the room had become bell shaped.

I felt tickles around my left ear and chin.

Liz saw red light in the room.

It looked pinkish/white to me.

My face became hot for a few seconds.

Liz felt her head was being split open from the top by a rod going through it!!!

She felt we were all like ripe corn being split open harvesting energy.

Liz was aware of a dark curly haired young man with spectacles sitting in the corner of the room.

For the last 15 minutes Dan was completely out of it.

I could tell he’d gone off and had someone with him by his fast breathing and there were a few slurpy lip-smacking sounds coming from him.

When he came back he felt a gummy, mucus feeling in his throat and found it difficult to swallow for a while.  

Dan had no memories of it.

Liz felt her lower abdomen being turned over and manipulated like there were hands inside her.

She said it reminded her of psychic surgery.

The music ended and Liz did the healing exercise, closing prayer and closing exercise…

8th Sitting 26/09/2013

Liz was home from her holiday so we were both back in the garage for the Mercury Experiment.

As always at 8.30pm we kicked off with the Rainbow Bridge Exercise.

Liz met a smiling Joan along with Freddie, a tall African woman, someone on a horse and someone on an elephant. They were all dressed in white.

Over on the other side she saw temples and places of learning.

I just met a white horse with no rider.

There was a light shining down on me illuminating the way as I walked onto the bridge and over on the other side I saw lots of candle flames.

Liz got excited when I mentioned the white horse as it meant a lot to her. She associated it with St Columba and the Isle of Iona, a place she has a strong association with and where she’d just been for her holiday.

I did the opening prayer and put the music on.

Liz immediately felt the room was full of people and saw dim lights moving around.

My legs became very cold.

I had a big bright blob in front of me and Liz reported seeing a moving white mass near where I was sitting.

Liz then saw pin-pricks near the ceiling followed by dim sweeping lights across the room.

I had a pressure on my forehead and started yawning.

We both reported a moving marble effect in the atmosphere.

Liz felt a cool breeze on her right side and my right side was cold.

The room looked lighter to both of us.

I saw blobs moving about.

Liz felt there was an umbrella above us.

We both became aware of a moving mist in the room. It was a bit like flying in and out of clouds.

Liz had the impression the cloud was going in her mouth.

Liz felt like she was on the sea, swaying.

I had a tickle under my right foot.

I heard a loud click on my side of the room. Liz didn’t hear it but it did come out on the recording.

Next door do make some noise sometimes but it wasn’t from them as it came from the opposite side of the room.

Liz saw a horizontal flash across the middle of the room.

I had tickles on my right foot and felt a cool breeze over my legs.

Liz felt a pressure band round her head.

I saw a bright orb of light flash on and off to my right.

Liz was seeing many lights moving around the room.

I felt tickles down the right side of my face.

Liz was getting hot.

I was freezing cold.

Liz felt like a grey wolf was superimposed over her face.

She even sensed a long nose and tall fluffy ears!!!

I felt something jump on and off my lap.

My feet felt very heavy like they were stuck to the floor.

Then I felt a vibration going through my body which lasted a few minutes.

Liz was sensing a series of different faces superimposed over hers. They were human this time and some she recognised as old friends.

It looked very bright to me where Liz was sitting.

I drifted off towards the end of the sitting and had a strange vision of the glass dome growing in size and a hand coming up through the hole in the base and waving!!!

I also felt like I’d had a conversation with Joan. It was about the music playing but I don’t recall exactly what she said.

Liz felt something running through her hair.

The music ended and we both commented on the energy which had become very dense and thick.

Liz then did the healing exercise, followed by the closing prayer and closing down exercise.

As always it had been an enjoyable, interesting sitting…  

7th Sitting 06/09/2013

We had the conditions and room set up as usual.

At 8.30pm we started with the rainbow bridge exercise.

Liz met a young girl with long golden hair who reminded her of her daughter. She had lots of children with her and there was also a black African man who Liz recognises as a familiar spirit friend. In the distance she saw many people representing all the different nations on earth. They all then turned into birds and flew away. Liz got the impression their bodies were just shells and their true spirit natures were like birds.

Meanwhile I just saw a light coming towards me. Then saw it was a bright sphere being carried by a man in orange robes. He handed me the sphere and I took it back with me…

I then said the opening prayer and put the music on.

I quickly felt cold round my legs and had a pressure on my forehead.

Liz felt a stroking feeling on the right side of her head.

She could see lights moving around on the ceiling.

She saw a rippling effect and a lot of red in the room.

I saw what looked like shooting starts coming and going.

Liz saw white webby forms moving around the room.

I felt a few tickles behind my right ear and had a light touch on my right leg.

I was getting very yawny.

My nose and throat were becoming blocked.

Liz saw a dim torch light darting around in a zigzag motion.

Then she saw a brighter light dart from floor to ceiling.

I didn’t see it.

I now felt like my whole face and head was covered in cob-webs and it remained like that for most of the sitting.

I saw flashes and blobs to my right.

Liz saw what she described as blue string hanging down.

I saw a blue vertical line in the centre of the room.

Liz had the feeling of a large dome in the room.

I could see milky mist around the sides and top of the room but it was dark above the table.

Liz had an earthy/musty smell.

Her nose was becoming blocked.

Liz sensed a lot of presences in the room and it felt to her as if the centre of the room was opening up into another dimension.

I saw a lot of white/blue mist close to my face.

Liz felt like she was in a hollow tree trunk.

I had a noticeably cold feeling go across my lap. It wasn’t a breeze and I didn’t feel it on my hands.

My head felt echoy like it was empty!!!

I saw a flash close to my eyes.

Then I saw a pin-prick light moving around for a few seconds near the dome.

Liz didn’t see a pin-prick but she saw a blob of light in the same place.

Liz felt like her head had turned into a blue bell flower!!!

I felt a vibration under my right foot.

Liz now felt her head was covered in cob-webs and she had a creeping feeling through her hair.

I had a feeling like something was coming off the palms of my hands (I’d had a similar sensation in the cabinet on Monday)

I also felt something coming off the tips of my fingers.

I felt a pressure pushing down on my left wrist.

Liz saw a flash just above her then I noticed one just above me.

Then I heard a click above me.

Liz was aware of energy moving round the room in a clockwise direction.

I had a big blob in front of me.

I was feeling light headed and drifting off slightly when I felt a tug on the front of my jumper which brought me back.

I saw a light figure to my left moving towards the centre of the room.

Liz saw a drifting light in the same direction.

I could smell wet paint.

The last tune played and the energy was feeling very smooth.

We both felt a little light headed.

Liz had been warm throughout the sitting and I had been cold round my legs and head.

The last tune ended.

Liz did the healing exercise, closing prayer and closing down exercise by which time we were both fully awake, feeling fine and ready for hot chocolate and cake.

Liz is away for the next two weeks so we’ll resume the Mercury Experiment on Sept 26^th…
