Thursday 25/07/2013 saw the first sitting for a new
experimental group in the garage.
We’ve decided to sit as explained in the ‘Basic Guide’
produced by the Scole Group. Initially we’ll do everything by the book until we
get clear communications and advice from the spirit team as to any changes or
tweaks they feel necessary.
Liz had got hold of a green resin 90cm round garden table. We
put our glass dome in the centre and sat either side of the table.
We still need a quartz crystal, hanging wind chimes and
luminous tabs on the compass points of the table but will have them sorted for
next week.
We started at 8.30pm sitting in full blackout for the
rainbow bridge exercise. This is where we visualise standing on one side of a
bridge with a spirit person on the other side, then slowly walking across it to
meet in the middle. I played a meditation tune during this.
I met a hooded man who had a large dog or wolf with him
while Liz saw a group of people holding out their arms to her.
After that I did the opening prayer and put on the music. We
used a ‘Hooked on Classics’ CD which seemed to work well with a mixture of
upbeat and slower tunes on it.
We sat in full blackout throughout, hummed along to some of
the tunes and reported any phenomena experienced.
If either of us felt like drifting off we let the other
person know first.
As soon as I finished the opening prayer Liz reported
movement and mottled lights in the room.
We both felt the atmosphere was charged and both felt a band
of pressure around our heads.
I saw a pin-prick on the floor to my right and Liz saw one
the other end of the room.
Liz was seeing a few swirls in the room; she said it looked
like being under water.
I could see light building up each side of me as if coming
from behind.
Then I got a pressure on the back of my neck like someone
pressing their thumb on it.
My legs got cold from the knees downwards.
I felt a touch on my left arm. Then it went cold and fuzzy
like something was going through it.
Liz was feeling a little light headed and her speech was
getting slurred.
She allowed herself to drift off for a while.
I was still feeling totally awake.
Liz came back after a few minutes and she could see sheets
of light in waves to her right.
They came to the centre of the room.
She had a pressure on the top of her head.
I was very cold.
Liz felt a juddering vibration going through her.
I thought the atmosphere had gone a bit pinkish.
Liz concurred.
I felt a light touch on my left leg.
Liz saw something dark approach her from the right, then
felt a pressure on the right side of her face.
I was feeling light headed and drifted off for a while.
I felt spirit move in and my arms and head were moved.
It felt strong and my arms and legs were shaking.
There was no communications.
I came back after about ten minutes feeling hot.
Liz was now cold and felt cool breezes.
She had the name ‘Rupert’ come into her head.
I thought it was getting lighter near the ceiling.
I now felt cold.
I saw waves coming in from my right up to the centre of the
room. This was the opposite of what Liz had seen earlier.
The atmosphere now looked yellowish to me.
Liz had a scorched wood type smell.
We both felt the energy had become very dense and thick.
Liz described it as like being in a large rock or piece of
coal.
This summed it up for me as well.
Liz felt some thumps on the back of her chair.
The atmosphere now felt light and misty to both of us.
Liz got two more names, 'Dirk' and 'Julia.'
I felt some touches in my hair.
Then I saw a big bright blob growing in front of me.
Liz had the impression of a dog with her, a spaniel with
floppy ears.
I suddenly fell asleep for a few seconds and woke up with ‘Phillip
birthday’ in my head.
Liz got another name, 'Richard Smith.'
Liz then got the sensation of a line of postage stamps.
(She took that as meaning sending messages)
The music CD ended. We checked that we were both okay and
back with it.
Liz did the healing exercise using the left over energies to
send out healing where it is needed.
She then did the closing prayer before I turned on the red
light.
It had been an interesting first experimental sit and our
non-physical friends had let us know they were very much with us.
None of the names meant anything to either of us.
We look forward to sitting again next week and are hoping we may have a new member or two join us in the next few weeks.

We left the garage set up as it was and I will revert it
back to cabinet sitting mode on Monday before our MLC sit...
