This group began sitting in July 2013 as an experiment using the 'Basic Guide' published by the 'Scole Experimental Group' in 1996.

We've changed the way we sit over the years. I am continuing to develop trance mediumship and Liz gives a mixture of evidential clairvoyance, inspired speaking and trance...

Our intentions are to receive information that will help us understand the bigger picture, why we are here, what happens when we die, the mechanics of mediumship and how we can help in raising the quality of consciousness...

155th Sitting 19/12/2017


This week we were joined by Patrick.
He also brought along a quartz crystal cluster that had been charged by the Scole Experiment Spirit Team about 20 years ago. This would be the first time it had been used in a séance.

I sat opposite Liz as usual and Patrick sat between us to my right and to Liz's left.
We left the small table with the glass dome, ping pong balls and Liz's quartz crystal in the centre of the room and put Patrick's charged crystal cluster on another small table next to that.

We decided to sit in our usual way this week with an open mind to implement any changes to the way we sit in the future.

I did the opening prayer at 8.10pm, turned out the light and put the music on.

We did the Rainbow Bridge Visualisation Exercise...

Liz found herself by a river full of white birds. There were too many and she felt overcrowded by them wanting to reach out over the bridge beyond to where it was calmer. Suddenly a hand came down and pulled her up. It was a very kind Mother/Father presence and lifted her up to the cave on Holy Island. Liz felt it was very important to be centred and to be at a centre. It was also linked with St Columba's cell on Iona and Liz felt the importance of the stone of the cave and the wood of the cell and the cross. Being grounded was very important. The essence of this being was love and it was very important to hold onto that. Liz felt very safe...

I started off on a grassy bank walking down to the bridge which was white, like painted bamboo and there were lots of white swans in the river. I walked onto the bridge and came to a white bar stool which I sat on and looked over to the other side which was full of rainbows coming and going, merging into each other. The stool then started moving across the bridge and stopped at a one metre gap in the bridge. I saw a young schoolboy walking towards me from the other side clutching some books. He stopped at the gap and reached over handing me the books. As he did this the gap closed up. A second figure appeared looking like an old-fashioned teacher with black hat and cape and he told me that these books are slightly different to what I usually read. He said it was important to read different books and to try and take something new from each book to widen your spiritual understanding. They then both returned to their side...

Patrick was unable to do the visualisation as his spirit team had drawn close putting him in a slightly altered state. He felt it was because the visualisation was diverting the energies from the solar plexus to the head whereas his team worked with his solar plexus. He felt they wanted to communicate through him but he preferred them not too at this early stage.
We told him it was fine for them to come forward as this was an experiment and he should just allow any attempt to communicate to happen this evening.

I put the music back on and we continued our session...

I was soon seeing a few bright blobs coming and going in front of me. As usual I could see them with eyes closed or open.

Liz had the sense of the colour ginger, ginger hair, an association with Sid Rawle, rainbow people, wigwams, Isle of Wight Festival, reinforcing the Earth connection.

My legs were cold from knees to feet.

Liz got the name Violet.

Liz and I heard a noise like a click or tap. It came out on the recording and seemed to come for somewhere between Liz and Patrick.
Patrick was in an altered state at the time and didn't hear it.

Patrick... 'Come on spirit friends draw closer'

Me... 'You're very welcome'

Patrick... 'Give us some information, give us some results, draw closer if you can'

Patrick's legs were now cold.
Mine were still cold.

Patrick got the impression that they would like a curtained off area, not necessarily for someone to sit in.
He also felt there should be some luminosity in the room and a trumpet.

It now felt like a cool breeze was going over my feet.
Patrick felt a cool breeze around his head.
Liz also felt a slight cool breeze.

Patrick had a coldness down the right-hand side of his face. The other side was warm.

Patrick said that he thought that with concentration upon the intended results everything will be good.
Liz mentioned the importance of harmonising and letting go.
Then Patrick's spirit team took control...

'Indeed, yes, of course it is very difficult to harmonise all the energies. Much work needs to be done...'

There then came what sounded like an Oriental language.

Me... 'Welcome friend, it's good to hear you. We don't understand what you are saying but it's good to have you with us'

The communication then continued in English...

'We work with the energies here, all good, all is good, we are happy, all is well...'

Me... 'Have you any advice for the circle as to how it would progress, any changes that need to be made?'

A different voice then came through...

'Good evening to you all'

Me/Liz... 'Good evening'

'Good evening, I'm very pleased to be here. We were deciding who should come to speak so it has been decided that I should do this, just for this occasion. I just say how very grateful we are for the opportunity to work with this medium again and we look forward to developing the energies to the point where you will have recognisable results that you do not have to be concerned about their genuineness or whatever. This will be a naturally developing mediumship if we take it very slow, very easily with no anticipation of results. It is not my province to discuss what those who are more informed propose to do with the energies that they are gathering in this circle for I am but the protector of this medium and the door keeper and that is my function. So I do not work with the physical energies but everybody seems to be quite happy, yes, they are indicating that there would be preference for some sort of secluded area where the energies can be... err what is the word, amassed. That would be very useful, yes, I can give no further information at this time, that is all they are saying for this. They would perhaps like that, it's a little, small sanctuary you could say for the energies to be mixed, like a little mixing pot, a cooking pot. Similarly, with the trumpet sometimes yes that is also good, that can be used as a... to sometimes even bring apports through the trumpet can be done. So, we wait and we will see, very early stage, we just wish to say that it will not necessarily happen quickly, we do not know, we cannot say at this stage, we're optimistic'

Me... 'We are very patient'

'So, I shall now be quiet and allow your energies to continue to develop. There will be a little break shortly to come because this medium will not be available, he has not yet mentioned this, ha, ha, he's going on holiday, ha, ha, alright is okay, he will come back and then we carry on sitting, we are all happy with this. The energies are building already in this actually, is quite good, we are happy'

Me... 'Good, thank you'

'Now I shall be quiet'

Me... 'Ha, ha...'

The energy of the room felt very charged to me.
Liz felt she had to keep very still.

Patrick was getting a tickly feeling on his nose.

Liz got the name Steve.

Patrick reported an Egyptian man in the room. He recognised him as one of his spirit team but had not seen him for many years.

Liz got the connection with hieroglyphics and information.

Liz got an image of an upside-down T or table.

There was another click or tap, a bit louder this time.
It made Patrick gasp bringing him out of a light trance. He later said that to him it sounded loud like a door slamming. He felt it was something to do with a break in the energy.
I heard it too but Liz didn't.
Again, it sounded like it was between Liz and Patrick and came out clearly on the recording.

Liz felt the upside-down T meant there's an attempt to turn everything upside down. There was a lot of energy but it was very important to hold onto a still centre so she had held herself very still.
Patrick had been doing the same.

Liz got the feeling of energy in the form of links. It was like chains being rattled, stirred up, we were being shaken a little bit. Everything we've learnt is subject to adjustment, reform, reshaping because our beliefs and expectations are only partial. This can be disquieting but it's necessary for new development, to prevent the emotional response to the unsettling effect of the reshaping of the mental structures which hold up to certain ways of thinking. It's necessary to readjust but to hold on to the formless, shapeless centre which is pure, devoid of preconception, of condition. So to maintain that blue sky, that clarity at the centre and meanwhile the elements are reforming, readjusting but there may be some turbulence for each of us in readjusting if we are to allow a new reshaping and new energy to come through. We have to be aware that everything we've thought may be adjusted. Maybe we will have to let go of some things and be open to new things.

Patrick agreed.

Liz had the image of a dragonfly, the nymph or the butterfly pupa inside that shell for the old forms are being reshaped, our new form emerges out of all the elements.

The room seemed lighter to me especially to my right.
I was still cold from feet to knees, the rest of me was warm.
It felt like the cold was coming from my right as if going clockwise around the circle.
Patrick agreed and felt the same.

I now had a fuzzy feeling in my left foot and I felt a light touch on my right leg.

Liz felt cold around her legs.

Liz got the sense of a purple pyramid, the triangle, the purity of the centre of the apex and to keep that contact with the apex, the sun energy to draw on, that's very important for us. Although you have the base and the sides you have the pinnacle, that centre line going through to the sun, the awareness of that central spindle alignment.

I felt I was being held still.
I had a fuzzy feeling down my right side.

Liz felt like someone was giving her a high-five.

Patrick felt a draft go over his right hand.
He had coldness down the right side of his face and it was warm on the left side.
I felt the same.
I got the feeling my physical body was disappearing.

Patrick had cobweb sensations moving down the right side of his face and forehead.

I had cobweb feelings on the left side of my face and a fuzzy feeling on the right.

Liz got the words... In the belly of the whale.

I got the sense of a child in the room winding something up, something clockwork.

Liz suggested that may indicate it's time to windup the session.
She then got the image of a woven basket upside down.

I checked everybody was okay then did the healing exercise, closing prayer and our closing down exercise...

154th Sitting 12/12/2017


We had the room setup as usual

We went back to reporting our Rainbow Bridge Visualisation Exercise to each other before continuing with the session.

I did the opening prayer at 8.05pm, turned out the light and put the music on.

We did the Rainbow Bridge Visualisation Exercise...

Liz found herself on a muddy bank of a river. There was a stone bridge to her left and a white painted metal lattice bridge to her right which she chose to go over. On the other side was a large green park area with lots of people walking around doing things. Liz was more interested in beyond that where there were hills full of bushes and trees and mountains. Liz wanted to get to the mountains and asked for help. Then as she crossed the bridge wild white geese came down and one of them took off with Liz holding on to its feet. Another goose flew under her and Liz let go and landed on its back which was wonderfully soft. They flew over the bushes and trees where Liz saw temples and other buildings. They continued to the mountains and at the top was a place like an observatory with astronomers and telescopes. They were looking up at the stars and out over the Earth. They said they were coordinating movements and the shifting energies of the Earth and its relationship to the planets and galaxies. They explained that every time something changed or shifted they had to re-calibrate everything. It was like a dance, a piece of choreography, if you change one set of movements you have to look at the whole set and change accordingly or like a painting if you change a colour you have to change all the other colours. They said it was a very subtle thing, it looks like it's done with technology but it's much subtler than that. It was just lovely to see and watch and feel that this was going on and Liz liked the analogy of it being like a dance...

I started off on a grassy bank leading down to a river with stone steps to a bridge made out of shiny varnished bamboo. I looked over to the other side which looked like a beautiful sunset with reds, oranges, yellows and shades of blue. I started to walk across the bridge and it suddenly split into a fork going left or right. I chose the right fork and continued walking. The atmosphere started to change, becoming very bright and white until I could no longer see the bridge just this bright white everywhere. Then the bridge came back into view and it was now a shining chrome bridge. In the distance I saw a tall figure with a big head. It looked frail and weak as it slowly came towards me. It looked like a stick insect and I felt I should give it some healing which I did and it then grew wings and became a healthy butterfly. I sensed a wonderful feeling of love coming from it and gave it a hug which made me sprout wings as I also turned into a butterfly and we both flew up into the bright white atmosphere with a great sense of freedom...

Interestingly we both chose a right-hand direction and both took off with a flying entity.

I put the music back on and we continued our session...

The room seemed to flicker to me with flashes around the ceiling.
I started to see bright blobs floating down from the ceiling.
I got one to stop in front of me and tried to see what it was. It got bigger filling my whole vision.
I felt there was something behind it and asked to see what was behind it but it slowly faded away leaving nothing.

Liz began to speak...

'Brenda... Something about a letter'

'Percell... as in the composer'

'Francis Bacon... I've got a tall man, a bit like Shakespeare with a globe... geography'

'Got an image of a baking dish, a meal, it's golden, complete harmony'

'This man in a lacy collar has something to say, it's like blowing a trumpet to wake the living and the dead, a wake-up call... concerned... pebbles in the sea, something to do with numbers building up... too many'

'Image of a footstool, it's like the Earth is this footstool... a support'

'Boomerang... when you throw it it comes back and if you're not careful it will hit you. Rebounds like an elastic band or the bow that releases the arrow, stretches so far and when you release it it will rebound... thwack... knock you off your perch, over stretched'

'At some point you set off on a journey. You get so far then you have to come back to base. You have to come back to restore, to refurnish, your provisions run out. If you carry on and don't heed the signs, running on empty, you die out, don't ever come back. There comes a point you have to come back. If you have gone too far the coming back is a bit of a shock, shock-wave. So there's a point of no return, you know you have to come back, that gets more urgent, the hunger pangs start to register, you're running on empty. You have to take note'

'So, you have a little globe. That globe is the Earth and it has to be sustained. You can either turn back in good time without the repercussions, shuddering, juddering, the Earth quakes, the disasters or you can blindly carry on only it won't be so blindly, a march to distinction. Getting close to a point of no return you want to take stock, review the situation, go back to base. Base is the place of basic needs, basic provisions, place where you do a stock check, count the costs, the balance'

'Every scientist, every inventor knows the importance of going back to the drawing board when you realise that you've gone a little bit off centre, not quite working out the best way possible. You don't carry on regardless you go back to the drawing board, start again, all the lessons learnt are useful, they can be factored into a new schedule, no shame, no waste in going back to the drawing board. The waste is to recklessly continue on a path that's going to lead nowhere. The signs of failure are already showing so take stock, stock check, re-calibrate, redesign. If enough people go back to the drawing board, go back to basics, basic needs, measured activity. If enough people refuse to carry on on empty then there's a chance to stop the juddering, bad side effects of over extension, thwack. It just takes enough people to resist the reckless pursuits of an illusory path to a prosperity that's a bit like the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. The Earth is a tightly controlled ergonomic space, ergonomic energy system and you have to understand what real prosperity is. To prosper in the Earth is to be aligned with the natural state of the Earth not some illusory state of an ever-replenishing porridge pot, a constantly laying golden hen. The hen lays so many eggs and that's its lot, only in fairy stories does it go on laying forever. Have to work with the reality that's given'

'I get this image of a big policeman on a roundabout directing traffic, I sense there's someone there, a police force that's directing traffic here and the traffic is the pathways of the people of the Earth, the currencies, flows, the energy flows. Mental energy flows, the pursuits, directing the traffic is directing the commerce, the business. The vehicles are like pathways, pursuits, the avenues of the Earth, mobilisation, the way that the Earth is running. I have the feeling we don't have to worry there's a higher order in command of enforcement of natural law but we're being channelled, supervised. Some of us are awake to it. The majority not really aware of it but that's how it is. Man's vanity is to think that he is in control, is to think that he is alone on the Earth, that he has the upper hand, has the final say... no he doesn't. That's not to say he isn't important. Everything that lives has its place, is important in its own way and its own way is part of a greater mainstream, is part of a greater often unseen way. If we were to see the full picture we would understand because we do stand under. Well friends that's all and thank you Margery and Violet, bless you all'

'I just got a sense of Freddie, just the name saying something like Starship Earth, they are the helmsmen so we can be quite safe, these crazy helmsmen zig-zagging the zig-zag path'

I played a tune as Liz came back with it.

She got the name Gilbert White as she came back.

We had the room setup as usual.

I did the opening prayer at 8.10pm, turned out the light and put the music on.

We started with the Rainbow Bridge Visualisation Exercise and continued into the session.

Liz started off wading through a paddy field of rice with Chinese ladies wearing hats going towards a bamboo bridge that went over a big river to wild looking scrubland. Liz crossed over with some of the Chinese ladies holding baskets of rice on their shoulders. They stopped at a certain part of the bridge as Liz continued over to the other side where there were women in sarees waiting and behind them were people in white, spiritual beings. Although Liz had seen it as a scrubland it was now like another level of reality, there were temples and buildings and tables laid out with food. The women were receiving teaching from the spiritual beings. It was about facelessness, about letting go of creed and religion. Liz wondered why there were no men there, then she saw them dancing and levitating and transforming. A sense of jubilation in an energetic way releasing all this energy...

I walked onto a bridge and there was a ribbon across the entrance that I had to cut before going onto it. I carried on and then stopped and waited half way across. I saw a priest walking towards me with long robes and he stopped in front of me and I saw two people either side of him. One was Freddie and one was my mum and then I saw that the priest was Colin Fry. They all looked happy, smiling and laughing but said nothing before returning to their side...

About 20 minutes after the opening prayer Liz began speaking and I turned down the music a bit...

'I keep getting something with F... Frankfurt, French, a lot of Fs'

The music went higher again on its own so I turned it down again.
I saw movement near the CD player like black objects moving around. One looked like an arm.

Liz got very hot at first then felt cold.

'I think the F maybe to do with face. Face is a limiting front. Without a face we have an extended being that seems to spread into everything but when we are aware of a face we become objectified as a point, as a person, as a front and that limits our spread, limits our awareness as part of a larger amorphous entity. Our being becomes compacted and condensed. Without a face I'm you, I'm me, I'm everything, my consciousness doesn't have a boundary but as soon as I look in the mirror and people show me I have a face I've become limited to a person, to a separate identity, to a front and the totality of my experiences compacts and compresses'

'To be faceless is to be free. We have to see beyond the face. The face predominates in our culture. A lot of emphasis is placed on face. Facing the world rather than being in the world. Facing another rather than being in another, with another, sharing with another'

'Considering how the face changes from childhood through adolescence to adulthood to ageing there's no consistency, often hard to recognise a teenager from a child. When we die the face disappears but something remains but we still choose to give the dead faces. In spirit faces are amorphous, not important, face shifts and changes but the essential beingness is a constant presence. Presence is the reality'

'The face I had before I was born, the face I will have after I died is the same face behind my face, the faceless face that I've always had. A face is just a mask that we call a face, the persona is a mask. Sometimes we can't recognise those who've died because they don't have a face they have a presence but no face, we don't always recognise them'

I fell asleep briefly and woke up with images of the colour yellow.
Then Liz continued...

'I think I have Freddie here, I think he likes Arthur T Wilson's style'

'To be present, to stay present without a face, that helps to encourage the transition between vibrational levels, like being in neutral ready to slip into any gear but not shifting into any gear just resonant to all the possible speeds, vibrational levels. To be faceless, being present to sensing the subtle shifting like tuning out of the station into white noise, being perceptive of the sudden intrusion of other stations, other frequencies, the rapid tuning, you get the odd intrusion of other realities as you stay in that presence, that faceless presence, you can capture, as in neutral you dance between the bands, the vibrational levels, not focusing on any one, not fixing the tuning, not just listening, the break through. We can selectively listen for the higher frequency, the FM bands. We can open our hearts to those who are wiser to the levels of wisdom and truth, those who have gone beyond the beyond, the wise ones who can teach us, who can help us to understand'

'Someone's shouting heavens above and there's beauty even in a garbage heap, jewels to be found in the mud. It's true that the treasure is where your heart is and even in the densest murk if your heart is pure you can see the gold nugget, you can see under the scaly slimy coat of the monsters and serpents and the diabolical gremlins, you can see the glint of gold, you can see the diamond buried deep. Behind all the grotesque forms there is the truth. From the beginning at the centre of creation there is nothing that is not of the origin, that is not from source. They are all one. The skill is to see the clear water beneath the turbulent turbid, slow flowing stagnant mire, knowing it's there. It's like in the fairy story when you know, when you love, the scales of even the slimy frog fall away and the handsome prince emerges. The beast sheds its frightening appearance and becomes a kind and loving partner'

'Love is the reality at the heart of creation breaking through into our illusionary world, breaking through into our conditioned perception like a torch shining, illuminating the world of appearances so that the shadows leave and the truth is seen. That's love, that's allowing the truth in us to illuminate the truth in another. Love is faceless because it hides behind all faces, it's hidden, faces hide love, love dissolves the face, dissolves the mask, reveals the truth that is love. It's not static or abstract, it's opening up to what is and what is is what love is. Love is a state of being, there's nowhere to go to be outside love'

'The human race is broken hearted; the heart has been circumcised with pain. The pain and the suffering of the human race can only be healed, the heart can only become whole again. The whole in the heart can be mended when we go behind the face, when we become faceless. The energy that is put into maintaining a face can be reclaimed by the heart and the heart can become whole. The energy of the human race is put into maintaining faces, face of religion, face of creed, face of race, face of nationality, face of belief. All these faces cause friction, cause division, cause separation but the faceless one has no creed, no religion, no belief, no nation, has a whole heart, a healed heart. The injury of the heart lies in the false identification with a face and that face has a colour, that face has a characterisation of faith, belief, nationality, culture, family, history that more often than not separates and causes strife, causes a prison. The heart cannot be whole in prison. The heart needs to beat freely, needs to function as a whole, let go of creed, let go of colour, let go of beliefs, let go of nationality, let go of pride, let go of philosophy, let go of politics, let go of all those things that divide, that cause suffering, that cause conflict. Become faceless, become nameless, become blameless. Therein lies the healing of the heart and the end of suffering for the human race. Be without a face with all of love... That's all for now'

'I see the men riding on their camels following the star to the birth of the child Jesus, and Jesus came to teach the end of suffering by the opening of the heart'

I put a tune on as Liz felt back with it.

152nd Sitting 21/11/2017


We had the room setup as usual.

I did the opening prayer at 8.30pm, turned out the light and put the music on.

We did the Rainbow Bridge Visualisation Exercise the same way as last week and will continue this way for a while.

Liz met lots of people on the bridge, all people she knew who had died...

I went onto the bridge and saw the other side which looked like the bright blobs coming and going that I often see in the room when we sit. An old man appeared out of this and came up to me with his hands cupped holding some sort of liquid. I put my hands under his and he released the liquid onto them making them glow. I then rubbed my face with my hands and that glowed too as the old man began to laugh and skipped and danced back to his side. There were lots of black crows and white doves flying around and one of each landed on my hands which I moved together as the two birds became one multicoloured bird like a parrot...

I then fell asleep for a while waking up about half way through the music CD.

I sang along to the tunes to keep myself awake.

Just before the CD finished I saw bright blobs coming and going with faces in them including a side view of the head of an elephant.

The room started to look lighter.

Then Liz began to speak...

'I have the image of a spoon... spoon fed, we're being spoon fed'

'These instruments... glasses we look through with our eyes and they give a very partial picture to represent a facet of reality. It's enough for us now but when we awake to be in the peelings to inner layers those eye pieces and instruments fall away. When you have music without the guitar music you hear only a representation of the harmonies apparent on the inner planes'

'Jacqueline Kennedy... I have a gathering outside a church, a Celtic cross...'

'In a physical world there's rushing around, snatching at time, never enough time, clock always ticking. In the inner planes there's always enough time, time doesn't have meaning, things take as long or as short as they need. In the present there's nowhere else to need to be but where you are and that's always for just long enough'

'Duty is an old-fashioned word but its meaning is faithfulness, steadfastness to the task, to the appointed task, to the task that is set which is set by the course of things, to be faithful to one's calling to one's life and to the inner planes. Instruct that calling and that is duty, not imposed from without but resonate from within bringing together the within and without in one seamless confluence of wills, of purpose. Knowing of the course set, being at the helm of one's being'

'I drive my own bus and carry many passengers. The passengers are the presences of all the singing parts of my creation and more of me than is seen. I'm a confluence of wills, of willingness, a confluence of the intentions to intend, to intend a life, to intend a path. Behind any manifestation is the unmanifest and which came first. The dance together, the shadow of the solid under the sun. The sun illuminates and out of its light all manifestations are born. They are born and have their numerous shadows and reflections and images of resonances and they fade and vanish but still the sun shines until more manifest and each has an intention to project further, to manifest further, to continue to rebound, to reflect echoes to the furthest whisper, faint, disappearing but the arrow of intent was written with purpose and the message of that life, that pathway, though the footprint fades, the sea washes the sand, memory is absorbed in the sand rebounding like a boomerang. No matter how far the elastic stretches it returns. We are such stuff as dreams are made of and our little life is rounded with a sleep. That every thought and every footstep that is charged with intent is recorded and rebounded and there is nowhere to go to be lost. The strength of the recording is a measure of the force and the intent, the confluence of wills and the trajectory of the lifetime'

'The seed that becomes the strong oak has impressed many but the sapling that dwindles and fades becomes food for the strong oak and its essence is absorbed by others. There is nowhere to go for any to be lost, the fruits of the forest are recycled'

'This is all we know of love. Beyond the sun is still a mystery, the deep dark of space out of which suns emerge. All is held in a great unknowing knowing, all we know out of the depths of night becomes light and out of light comes all manifestation and all manifestation returns to light and light is held in the dark like a child in its mother's womb'

We had the room setup as usual.

I did the opening prayer at 8.25pm. Liz had asked me to include asking for some communications through her that I would recognise. I then turned out the light and put the music on.

This week we changed the way we did the Rainbow Bridge visualisation exercise. We decided to go back to how we started doing it. We visualised standing on one side of a bridge that leads to the spirit world then going half way over to wait for anyone to come from the other side.

I met four family members while Liz fell asleep during the exercise not waking till after the music CD finished.

I didn't notice anything happening in the room till just before the music CD finished. My legs got very cold and I saw bright blobs coming and going.

Liz then started to speak...

'A lady is coming through, showing me some painted furniture, crafts... Got a name like Roberta. I see her turning on taps, she's wearing overalls, she has straight blonde hair, shortish... Keeps coming back to me in a sense of somebody I know called Jill... in the country with caravans. This lady may have been somebody connected with Sue Laborg'

'I see Carol throwing away a cigarette'

'Cathy... I keep getting the impression of a strong, stringent, quite bossy lady who always liked to be right'

'The Isle of Skye'

'Ellis... a big man repairing a bucket, wall paper decorating... tractor wheels and tyres, somebody connected with farms, agricultural machinery'

'Pete... bucket and spade, sixpence'

'Getting a series of pictures of a row of houses, seems to be connected with John Lennon... a street, ladies in pinafores, I'm getting quite hot, going over heath and moorland, larks rising. 'I seem to be going to school, a school scarf, got a feeling of a lady, dark hair, spectacles, slightly bent or squashed, in her 60s. Sort of French, dark, masculine face, large nose. She's small but quite broad. In some position of control, could have a cane with her, wants to rap on the table to get attention. She has useful things to say, quite stern but with a sense of fun, can be quite sharp. Someone you could think of as an old witch but she's actually good hearted and I sense she's very fond of you, she thinks you're a very good boy, she's pleased with you, you're on the right path. She's someone who'd keep you on your toes. I think she's a Salvation Army lady. I see a broach, something nautical, girl guides, public spirited, Union Jack colours. The broach is not ornamental but something to show you are connected with something, a badge of honour, prefect badge, St John's Ambulance'

'Got this saying like... an ounce of butter well spread is better than a whole pound... not so much the frugality but the careful application, applying sparingly but prudently. A bit of home wisdom from the old harridan. There's none so wise as those who know to spread the seed sparingly... and now we have to go and have a falafel. I almost want to call her Auntie Flo, sort of Mediterranean feeling, an old Auntie of Mediterranean descent'

I had an Auntie Flo but she wasn't Mediterranean. However, she was quite well off and went on holiday to the Mediterranean and I remember going run her house several times with my parents to watch cine films she had taken there.

'I want to ride my bicycle' was a phrase Joan used to say a lot in connection with Freddie.

Some of the descriptions sounded like my Gran including painting furniture, a strong, stringent, quite bossy lady who always liked to be right and I have a memory of watching larks rising with her.

Also, I know someone called Beryl with short curly hair who is still on this side.

150th Sitting 31/10/2017


We had the room setup as usual.

I did the opening prayer at 8.10pm, turned out the light and put the music on.

We did the Rainbow Bridge visualisation exercise...

Liz started off at the seashore with the tide out and there was a hot air balloon with Rupert Bear and his friends in the basket. He invited Liz to step into it and they set off up into the air. There was no hot air going in the balloon as it was being lifted by birds. The basket was swinging to and fro like a pendulum and Liz asked Rupert why he was there? He said he was symbol of childish adventure and he was also a teacher. He said they were going to the mountains in Tibet and it felt like a great adventure. As they reached the snowy mountain peaks Rupert said they were all going to jump out which they did landing in the snow. Liz didn't feel afraid as this was all part of the adventure. She got behind Rupert in a toboggan that went racing along leading them to a cave with a wooden door. Inside there was a spiral staircase and they climbed up to an enormous platform, a room with windows all along one side like portholes facing the sunrise and sunset. The room was full of desks and red robed monks and nuns were sitting at them making illuminated books. Some were sowing them with silks and some were drawing, painting and writing. They were doing this work from sunrise to sunset and allowing inspirations to come to them. When they were finished the books would be sent around the world and seeded in various libraries. They contained secrets, secret teachings...

I saw an old man leaning over with two walking sticks slowly walking up a very steep hill on an uneven cobbled path. He was struggling so I went over to help but he said he was alright and carried on making his way up the hill. I asked him where was he going? He told me he wasn't going anywhere, he was just enjoying walking up this hill. He said he wanted to make the most of his life and do everything he could and as he spoke he changed into a tall, strong, upright American Indian who told me that he was the real person, the old man I see is just the body but he was the real motivator. He said nobody ever gets old it's just a physical illusion while we're here in this reality. He said we are all just children and have yet to grow up and it's this youthful spirit that is keeping us going, pushing us forward. It's good to keep doing things when the body gets old and not to give up, make the most of every minute of every day, try not to miss anything. He then changed back into the old man and at the same time I felt a surge of energy, said goodbye to the man and started running up the hill as fast as I could...

I put the music back on and we continued our session...

I soon started seeing bright blobs coming and going, some were spinning round in clockwise circles.
I saw a few faces and then heard a phrase that my Nan used to say.

Liz started to speak after the music CD finished...

'A gate half open...'

Me... 'Can it be opened fully?'

'I've gone through... they seem to be taking me into mum's garden'

'It's like I have two sphinxes either side of me, have the head of a cat, taking me into the pyramid. The cat people are holding me, each hand... asking where are the treasures? I feel the treasures are like golden goblets and they are doubled up in my heart'

'Iberian Peninsula... a great ship is going to take me across the waters. The flag on the ship is just a round black ball. I'm looking at the mast, it's like a telegraph pole'

'Politsei... Police with an Alsatian dog...'

'Jersey... not sure why I'm on Jersey... I've got an image of glass bottles and a caravan... crabs'

'Would you like to ask any questions?'

Me... 'Yes, how much are we helped by the spirit world while we live in the physical world and how much are our choices purely our own choices?'

'The spirit world is always with us, there's very little to separate the two, we're intermingled all the time, we are spirit and our inner spirit is constantly in communion with the spirit world and so it's like an active dialogue and our choices are also the choices of spirit because we are in dialogue when we make those choices often. Sometimes we are not aligned completely with the course we ourselves have set in communion with our larger self which is in spirit and so sometimes our choices lead us astray, lead us from the clear path that's been indicated by us and for us. It's a little bit like when we are unwell, when our health deviates from perfect functioning but we can get back into balance again, no mistake, no deviation. We can spend a lifetime turning and twisting, falling away from the true line that's been set and coming back to it again, zig-zagging but the true course is always there for us to follow, to fall back into line. So, our choices are ours but are also of spirit because there is no distinction between us and spirit and truth'

Me... 'If we deviate off our path and for some reason never get back onto our path does that cause a problem with our evolution or spiritual growth or is it something that can be rectified at a later date?'

'In the fullness of time all mistakes can be rectified but our understanding of time is very temporary so we feel we have limitation of time and all is lost when we make a mistake. That's what we feel but in truth there is all of eternity and that mistake is a very little deviation and the chance and possibility of redirecting our path, of falling back into the correct alignment is very real and ultimately in the fullness of time our deepest desire is to be what we truly are and we can never deviate from that because that is the truth. The deviations are small compared with the greatness of truth which will shine in the end, well there is no end and that is the truth, so in the evolutionary path time is irrelevant. Evolution is happening and will happen in the fullness of spirit time which is larger than physical time'

Me... 'Are all the influences we get from spirit positive and loving or is it possible that sometimes we could get a negative influence from the spirit world that would possibly set us in a wrong direction?'

'It is possible that our attunement can be with lower vibrational levels and they operate also within the spirit realm, within the non-physical realm just as those on Earth. Some are vibrating at a more basic animalistic level so in the spirit realm there are those who have not evolved very far and who have maybe entered into spirit with a lot of negative malevolence and are suffering and it is possible to tune into those forces and to be influenced or to resonate with them but this is a temporary state and can be changed, this does not have to be prolonged. With help and with one's own resources one can lift one's spirit and vibrational level into a more conducive and harmonious resonance with those who are more evolved and wiser but here again there is to some degree a choice in the sense that one can choose to be negative, to be filled with the negative qualities of greed and malevolence. One can actually desire to dwell in that darkness but that can be helped and that's where the power of prayer and healing of those around a person who feels the unwholesome influences and negativity. That person can be drawn towards a more positive and more harmonious resonance with those in spirit who are more conducive to love and harmony and positive emotions but for most people who are drawn to the spiritual vibrations of love and harmony there is a great protection in that intention to align with those forces and that is why we encourage those who are working consciously to communicate with spirit to be grounded in spiritual values and an intention towards love, harmony and healing, towards the light. That intention is a protection against the unwitting resonance with the negative forces that do exist'

Me... 'Many people in the physical world have no interest in the spirit world, they think only of physical life. Are they also still influenced by the spirit world or are they more alone and just working with themselves'

'The spirit world is always with them but they are closed to it because their attunement is completely with the physical forces. It's as if their eyes are tightly closed and their ears are stoppered but that doesn't mean that spirit is not close and waits for those moments in sleep or when the closing of the eyes and the stopping of the ears is lessened so spirit may whisper, may throw hints and inspirations in their path but yes, it is true that some in the physical remain sealed off from the conscious resonance of spirit, with their birthright, with their larger reality'

Me... 'Thank you for that, I think you've answered all the questions I can think of at the moment'

'Part of the working of spirit in the past has been through the oracles which is how we are engaged with the question and the response. It's the two-way communication using a medium as a switchboard. That's one form of mediumship in which spirit can communicate in the forms of questions and answers'

'I'm being drawn back into the pyramids with my sphinx creatures by my side and the treasure of the gold buried with me. It's in my heart but this was one of the old ways, the understanding of the power of the dead in their resurrected state, to be able to transmit the golden wisdom of the heart from that larger perspective having gone beyond the boundary, having crossed the sea, and the dead then find themselves as the oracle and the gold that was buried with them is reinstated through the words of the oracle. By honouring the dead, we are honouring the rich fruits, the rich wine of accumulated wisdom with the fruits of a good life. The fruits of a good life is the wisdom of the heart and is the true knowledge'

'I feel I have twin girls here and they seem to be dancing, prancing around. There's a connection with Jersey and this Alsatian dog. Seem to be about seven years old, a connection with crabs and sand castles. I think they're waving, want to say goodnight'

'Dorothy and Irene... I feel they are taking me very gently to meet my mother who appeared there as a young woman and I was able to hug her'

Me... 'Has your mum got a message for you at all?'

'Just the love and the longing to be reunited but also the reality of the possibility of meeting and being with those who we've loved who've died. That they're always there and that there is the possibility of meeting them, joining with them, realising the fullness of their presence in the dimension where they are although they're in spirit we can be accompanied, led, open to receive them, to perceive them, to communicate with them and that was done very gently to alleviate over emotional response but the emotion was there'

'I'm sensing my mum is in a place like in the Scottish Highlands and she's at a stage when she was much younger, in her 20s with her friends of that time'

'Dorothy and Irene are like the ladies from Findhorn which might be the relevance of the caravan and the sea. I had a connection with them as I danced with them over 50 years ago and I danced with another member of our group who is now passed into spirit but who is related to my mother so the connection is there, so, thank you. I feel that has shown me that a person can be happy in spirit but that the love they feel for those who are still left behind is still very real and that they can still miss them and want to communicate and to send back their love'

We had the room setup as usual.

I did the opening prayer at 8.10pm, turned out the light and put the music on.

We did the Rainbow Bridge visualisation exercise...

Liz started off at a large estuary with a great bridge like the Seven Bridge over it which was busy with traffic and people. Liz didn't want to join the traffic and people so she swam across but a hand was reaching down trying to get her up on the bridge. She took no notice and carried on swimming reaching the other side. Then Liz wanted to explore in her own way, she wanted to explore the wild places and found her way to a hut where there was a group of people sitting round a fire and reading to each other. There was someone there Liz knew who had died, Phil De Mayo. He welcomed Liz and said the light of spirit was like the light that drew moths to it and people are drawn to this light, the Christ light. He spoke of the importance of building this light up within ourselves, allowing it to come through and radiate and become more and more light that will draw people to us. That was part of our purpose, to learn and they were reading about how to let the light shine and working with that. He emphasised the importance of facilitating this light into our lives, bringing it into the world and allowing it to shine...

I started off watching a man dancing like a ballet dancer and then saw he was dancing on a round wooden table and was only about ten inches high. The table was inside a room that had paintings of people on the walls, all types of people doing different things. The dancing man then jumped off the table and went into one of the paintings becoming the painting. Then I looked at another painting of a soldier and the soldier came out of the painting and onto the table where he started to march up and down. I then realised that I was also in a painting and when the soldier returned to his painting I jumped out of mine and onto the table. I stood there not sure what to do as all the other people came out of their paintings joining me on the table. We linked hands and formed a circle then the table and room disappeared. We were now standing on a vast expanse of grass and were joined by more people who formed more circles around us. We all looked up to see a hand with a paint brush coming down from the sky and it began painting trees and houses, ponds, rivers etc on the grass around us creating a beautiful scene...

I put the music back on and we continued our session...

I soon started to see bright blobs in front of me coming and going.
I watched them then fell asleep and woke up half way through the music CD.
The room now looked very black and then it looked like a light was shining from my right across the room casting shadows from objects like large stones standing up.
I then sung along to the music to keep myself awake.

Liz started to speak just before the music CD finished...

'I have Francis here... he just wanted me to mention the great silence'

Me... 'Is Francis somebody you know?'

'I don't know, he's come before... I have a feeling the great silence is this space in which we prepare for receiving the messages from spirit. I'm just enjoying the silence, it's being brought to mind that it's a necessary stage'

'I have these colours flowing through me. It's because in the silence you wait to hear Newton's apple fall and you can feel these colours like many butterflies and moths. They interpenetrate you and they are flying through you. Like being wrapped in the finest silk scarf but I'm all space'

'I have the name Darren... Dinky toys, seem to be holding a crane, Meccano, I'm being taught the essentials of construction. As children these things come naturally with no effort. As the child sits in that silence, is receptive, the skills and the learning, the innate knowledge of how things work, what is to be done, flows through the child because the child is an empty space. We can show, we can work with the child to help the child reclaim all those elements of knowledge and learning that resonate with the personality inherent in that child. It's like a software program, just needs switching on. We push the buttons allowing the child to acquire naturally the knowledge and the attributes and skills that are needed for this lifetime. It requires the passive observance of the child allowing the child to be in the silence, in that space'

'Jacaranda, a special tree, a special plant, its fragile within the flower and the fruit. All together the plant, the tree emerges from the seed and grows and fruits and blossoms with no teaching, effortlessly in its own time. The invisible forces of nature, unseen, in the quiet time are weaving their spell, working, encouraging, facilitating the tree to become a tree with its particular properties and so it is with a child. The human teachers would work in arrogant ignorance, interfere with our natural processing, the natural process of development. The child tree becomes stunted, becomes something other than what it is meant to be. A pear tree should not be a plum tree, nor a fig tree nor an oak. Each human being has his or her own quintessential nature, properties. Needs to develop in order to shine forth with its native hue, the totality of its being. To flower in the dessert or in the ice or on the mountain or in a marsh. Humans struggle and believe that this struggling and difficulties and the stresses and strains of acquiring all this knowledge, all these skills, is necessary to the perfection and to become what is desired by others. The struggle is often because what the person is trying to become is not what is natural to the person but what is impressed by the will of others, the suggestions of others. To discover the pattern of growth that will be easy and natural and harmonious requires sitting in the silence, developing spaciousness, listening, attentiveness, allowing, allowing the natural forces of nature, the gifts of the presences of the wise one that surrounds all living things, to have their assistance, to have their help, to have their encouragement, to have their gifts. The gifted child is a child who allows the innate listening to come to the fore, to predominate. The gifts are given by the whole, this is a gifted world, humans are gifted with humanity, gifted with life, gifted with personality, gifted with skills and the gifts are the natural given encouragements, presents from the whole of life, from the whole spiritual congregation of beings that surround every living thing. Every living creature is an amalgam of an infinite number of forces interacting, interweaving. These forces may emanate with entities, the entity is just a vortex of forces, of qualities at the centre of this web of vibrating beings, as the human being. Let him sit silently listening to the resonances, the vibrations of the various silk threads of the web in which he exists and the gifts of the food parcels of thoughts, of talents, of skill, of inspiration, of qualities will pass into him, will defuse into his being naturally. He will absorb those powers, those qualities, those ideas, those skills that are necessary to his fulfilment'

'The child is conceived; do you think you have to do anything to conceive the child apart from what comes naturally and instinctively? The child grows; do you have to do anything to make the child grow apart from those things you do naturally, to eat, to exercise, to breath? The child is born; do you have to do anything to give birth apart from allow nature to take its course? The child suckles at the breast; does the mother have to do anything that the milk is produced and that the child feeds? This all happens naturally, the child slowly awakes into awareness of the world, into responding, into understanding. Do you have to do anything apart from what comes naturally so the child begins to show interest, begins to investigate, to explore? The stages of development happen naturally. Teeth fall out at the age of seven, puberty starts at twelve onwards without you doing anything at all. Knowledge will come to the child naturally and in due course. The current system of education is concerned with preparing a work force, a socially dependent class of human beings who will maintain the status quo, the belief system and structures and endeavours that have been put into place by the proceeding generations and many of these are misconstrued, many of these are involved in the production of armaments and defence and the production of those things. This distorts the potential for full flowering of the human tree, misdirects the energy, misdirects the life force, so instead of becoming a being full of light and love, full of qualities, the human being becomes a stunted miser full of misperceptions, full of darkness, diminished and limited. And most humans do not shine with light but shrivel into gloom. So, the times of change are coming and we predict the great stillness, the great silence. What this is, what this will be will become apparent. This will be a condition that will be anathema for many but may be an awakening also for many for each one will respond to it in their own way but the germ of the possibility of awakening is in the great silence'

'I've got all these dancers around me, I've got Margot, Rudolf... I can almost hear them saying tell it how it is... Valentino... Cressida...'

'Got that feeling again of chiffon scarfs, whirling through me, beautiful pastel rainbow colours like you get in insect wings. I have this sense that we're being interpenetrated with these beings, they're flowing through us all the time, they are there with great beauty instructing, assisting, demonstrating, sharing. It's like soap bubbles when they coalesce into one big bubble'

'I'm being shown this enormous Christmas tree all lit up and my sense is it's not just that Christmas is coming it's the sense of gifts, that these radiant beings are wanting to share gifts with us, the gifts of spirit and the birth of Christ. The birthing of the Christ in us so that we all become the sons and daughters of God, so that we become what we truly are'

'Francis again and I can only say thank you to our friends in spirit for wanting to share gifts of the spirit, wanting to impart and to be with us, to allow their presence to be felt and to help us to perceive truly in your beautiful colours. Thank you friends, all love and blessings from them to us and us to them'

'I sense we have a lot of stars with us, they've never gone away. I think they just wanted to let us know they were there... Diana, Freddie... all working with the light, that's the fair trade. So it goes from Terrance playing with soldiers to the fair trade and they are working on it big time, very positive, quite a ray of hope... I think we should leave it there'

We had the room setup as usual.

I did the opening prayer at 8.05pm, put the music on and turned out the light.

We did the Rainbow Bridge visualisation exercise...

Liz started off with daffodils, primroses, narcissi and all sorts of spring flowers all around her and a narrow deep stream running alongside. There was somebody with her that she thought she had known called Ian. He was leading her over to a church where there was a feast going on like a village harvest festival, lots of baking, a friendly rejoicing sharing feeling. He then wanted to take Liz beyond that to a large field with a black and white horse. Liz climbed up on it and he climbed up behind her and they went galloping off then they were flying through the sky going into a star system and they seemed to become very small amongst all the stars. Liz got the impression the stars were forming a kind of spider's web spangled with little parcels of food that were wrapped in web silk. She felt this food was our experiences, all the quintessential experiences of our lives on this enormous web and the spider was feeding on this experience, these parcels of food and out of this spider were coming more spiders, baby spiders that were weaving webs and the same process was going on and on. It was as if every time we immerse ourselves back in the world of experience this experience was being parcelled up like a beautiful drop of golden water. Liz felt the gold was like the gold you have round the heads of saints. It was like all the goodness of the experience was this wonderful food that kept this universe of stars going and back at the human level was the enjoyment of the church harvest festival feast...

I started off at the edge of a cliff like Beachy Head. It was grassy and the cliff face chalky and I saw a lighthouse down below with a light shining out going round and round. I watched the light beam sweep across the sea lighting up boats out in the distance. I then started to get bigger, I was sitting on the edge of the cliff and my feet now touched the sea below me so I stood up and walked out into the sea until it came up to my neck. The sea then disappeared and I found myself in a dessert on dry sand. I could still see the beam of this lighthouse now sweeping across the sand. The beam of light hit a pyramid and stopped. The light seemed to be going into the pyramid and from the pyramid the light came out at a different angle towards another pyramid and from that one to another and then another and then back to the first. It was like a square of pyramids connected by light beams being fed from the lighthouse. I wanted to stand in the middle of the square and when I did this I started to change into a lighthouse but I wasn't emitting any light as I was receiving light from each pyramid. I felt I had roots running down into the Earth. The light was travelling down me into these roots and then into the Earth in different directions until each light beam came back up to the surface in various places over the Earth. Another lighthouse appeared wherever it came up and the process started over again...

I put the music back on and we continued our session...

I soon saw bright blobs coming and going.
Then I saw brief images of smiling faces. I didn't recognise any of them except one of Princess Diana. It was as if she was walking away and turning round smiling.

I then kept drifting in and out of sleep for most of the rest of the session.

Liz began to speak after the last tune on the CD.

'Gordon... I feel as if I have a cleric, clergy... confusion, Confucius... I'm being told something to the effect that the very wise don't say too much, listen to the sound of silence. I seem to be surrounded by moths drawn to my light. I have a feeling a person can be a light like a lighthouse, a beacon, without saying anything. Standing in the silence, sitting in the power'

We need to let the forms of life reveal themselves in their own way in their own time to allow them to present themselves in their full glory, to pass by, to dwell with us in whatever way they are able to present themselves and to desire nothing more than to witness and in that bearing witness we're filled with love, we acquaint ourselves with the meaning of love, we become immersed in the fabric of love and love is the matrix, love is the fabric, the cloth on which all living forms impress their temporary manifestation. When we become like the cloth, when we immerse ourselves in the cloth we allow those living forms to pass through us to let their essence penetrate us. Love isn't something we do, it's that quality of being, the medium through which the living form presents itself and in that state of being in which we find ourselves, at one with the underlying fabric, we are in love, we do not love but we exist in love and love is the nature of our being. In that state of love, we love and are at one with all things. All things pass through us and we rejoice at their being and allow them to be'

147th Sitting 10/10/2017


We had the room setup as usual.

I did the opening prayer at 8.30pm, turned out the light and put the music on.

We did the Rainbow Bridge visualisation exercise...

Liz found herself on a red brick cork screw pathway going one way then the other. She was going alongside a canal and came to a red brick arched bridge. Liz climbed over it and met loads of people coming the other way with bicycles, horses, carts and taxis, a lovely friendly feeling. On the other side was a large market place with a fountain in the middle and a man dressed in white, a teacher. Everybody settled down to listen to him, he was talking about fruits in the market, wonderful marrows and pumpkins. He said these were the fruits of a good life. Everybody brings their best to the market to trade and sell, they don't bring their inferior produce just the best. They represent the work of your life, the importance of preparing the best conditions for growing your best fruit. It doesn't have to be big fruit like pumpkins, it can be small like a sweet tomato, it's the quality that's important. The purpose of your life is to bear fruit that is of excellent quality but all your fruits are acceptable. If your fruit isn't the best you have a chance to go back and try again. Fruits of the spirit...

I was holding onto a large heavy vase full of flowers while walking along a dark cobbled street. I could see people walking the other way either side of me, they looked Victorian. They didn't seem to notice me and as I walked I saw that the vase was dripping. As the water hit the street bright colourful flowers sprung up and I looked behind me and saw a long trail of flowers. Then the vase burst and water went everywhere. The whole scene became brighter and full of flowers, fruit trees and all kinds of plants as the water hit the ground. I saw native people walking amongst the plants eating the fruit and vegetables. All sorts of animals were there even lions and tigers but there was no fear as they showed no interest in chasing the other animals or people choosing instead to eat the vegetation. Everything was living in harmony with everything else, some people were building houses out of the wood from the trees and they were all helping each other. I saw the scene from above and it seemed to spread over the whole world. As I watched it switched back to the dark cobbled streets and then back again. I got the feeling we could take the world in any direction we wanted towards fear and darkness or to love and light...

I put the music back on and we continued the session...

The room seemed to get lighter to me.
I felt a pressure on my left ear and tingling on my legs.
I saw white wispy bits floating around the room then bright blobs coming and going.

Liz got the sense of someone she knew called Mark who died young.

I was drifting in and out of sleep while the music CD was playing.

When it finished Liz began to speak...

'I feel I have somebody with me, he says his teeth feel bad, his shoes don't fit, uncomfortable, feels very old'

We had the room setup as usual.

I did the opening prayer at 8.15pm. I included mentioning to the team that Liz had set up the magnetometer upstairs and asked them to influence the readings if possible. Last week I did the same and we got a different trace on the readout during the time that Liz was talking and receiving inspiration from the team. I thanked them for this and we will make a point of mentioning the magnetometer each time we sit now in both circles.

I turned out the light and put the music on.

We did the Rainbow Bridge visualisation exercise...

Liz started off going through a brick archway, it was like a gate with beautiful spring flowers in baskets either side. As Liz went through it became a tunnel like an aqueduct. She was in water swimming and then became a turtle in the sea. She wanted to explore further, get to another place, evolve. Liz came out onto the land on an island and turned into various different creatures including a beetle, a squirrel and a bird. Each of them had its own story, its own experience, all experiencing it in different ways. Then Liz expanded into another sphere and found herself with a teacher, an elderly Arab with a tea cloth headdress in a tent in the dessert. Liz saw all these different levels, tents within tents within tents and each one had been built perfectly and they were all interconnected. Liz asked who is creating them all? Where do they come from? She wanted to get to the origin, the highest point. The Arab laughed as if the whole thing was a cosmic joke, a conundrum. He told her all the stories fed into one great story but they were all important. At that point it turned into a dream for Liz and she couldn't recall what happened next...

I started off sitting at a big round wooden table in a large dark cave. I watched as the centre of the table started to get higher forming a kind of mushroom shape and then a hole opened up in the centre as masses of pin-prick lights came out whizzing around the cave lighting it up. They were sticking to the walls making them glow brightly. The table then flattened out again and as I looked around the lit-up cave I saw a tunnel leading into it and people started coming in and sitting round the table with me. They were all different and from different parts of the world. I saw a monk, a soldier, a farmer, a policeman etc... Everybody was staring at the centre of the table and I did too as it started to sink down and open up again like a big plug hole and it seemed to suck all the identity from all of us until we all looked the same, stripped of all our character that had made us individual. We were all grey and featureless looking a bit like how aliens are depicted. Then we all got up and went back into the tunnel and out into the world. I saw fields and trees, towns and cities, farms and desserts all around us and we all walked off in different directions to start a new life and build up a new identity...

I put the music back on and we continued our session...

I noticed flashes above me and lots of movement in the room.
It became bright and blobby.
I saw two cupped black hands momentarily within the blobs as if coming out of water.

I then kept drifting in and out of sleep for the rest of the session.
Liz drifted off at the beginning then started to speak as the music CD finished...

'I heard the elderly Arab gentleman saying 'Lahyam' which means 'to life' during that last tune. He's raising a glass, a goblet of wine, deep red, like blood and the blood is identified with life. Life in this world is intense and thick. I'm seeing a number of window frames, each of them is different, different divisions, different frames, like a different signature, different way of dividing it up, bar code. It's the DNA, small differences in the code create a wide variety of characteristics and these characteristics, the totality of the variant personality provide this alternative window frame for each and every one, a specific viewing point and the foolish thing that happens is that according to the variation a person gets stuck with this fascination with the inward responses to the experience and so often what is happening is a person will experience directly, view through a window but then get caught up in the memory of all the different responses to that viewing, similar viewings in the past and stop seeing. So instead of seeing freshly through their window a person gets caught in retrospective scanning of all memories of previous viewings and ceases to see directly. Human beings at present in general are failing to experience directly and clearly with a fresh telling of their story. Their experience is second hand based on the old stories that they've been telling themselves since the beginning of their time. So, clean your windows and look out directly, seeing with a freshness, with an open gaze, letting go of all the old connections and stories of the past. Each moment is a new vision, new experience, a fresh story. So, to be present, to be lucid is the role of the human, to take full advantage of each one's unique window frame and the lessons that have been learnt from the past are already incorporated and allow for fresh responses. With reflection a previous response to a particular scene through the window may have been deemed faulty, not a perfect response, not a beneficial response, not a useful response and with reflection a lesson is learnt and stored and it can be trusted. The knowing process will allow a more appropriate response when a similar view, a similar event through the window arises. It is not necessary to shift from the window to scan the inward responses and memories, that detracts from the immediacy of the experience. It can be trusted but with the immediacy of the experience the benefit of earlier lessons, the benefit of the reflection from earlier experiences and lessons learnt will allow for a modified response. It is not necessary to withdraw from the window into reviewing the past responses and memories associated. Stay at the window, stay looking, stay being present and trust that your response will be apt, will be genuine, will be original. So, don't live second hand through the mind, live first hand through perception, immediacy of perception through the window, through being present and lucid and aware and responding authentically with immediacy with originality and then you will become like a virtuoso violin rather than an old scratched record, an old scratched recording of someone else's violin. So, the rich blood of life is created fresh and spontaneous, every moment is going on, every moment, not a drop that isn't new and refreshed, full of oxygen, that red blood and that's the vitality, the vital freshness of life. So, we say lahyam and raise a glass to life'

We had the room setup as usual.

I did the opening prayer at 8.10pm and this week included asking for evidential communications from people I would recognise if that were possible. Then I turned out the light and put the music on.

We did the Rainbow Bridge visualisation exercise...

Liz started off with an image of a red brick pillar which got bigger and bigger like a chimney. She then realised it was the chimney of a crematorium. Liz wondered why she was seeing this, it was unsavory and she then became aware of fairies and elemental spirits dancing and rejoicing. They were leading Liz away from the crematorium. There was a sense that it wasn't really necessary to get transfixed on the demise of the body. Liz felt she was stuck with the Earth, she wanted to rise up. She then sensed a huge statue like a Greek god with triangular beard and triangular hat on a throne and he showed Liz a way up to the Holy of Holies. A great wide flight of stairs went up and up to this Holy of Holies and Liz began to make her way up. When there it was like a series of mirror images of the Ark of the Lord. It made Liz feel giddy looking at it so she knelt down and put her head on the ground. She asked for understanding, to be shown what she needed to be shown and got an image of a ripe tomato...

I started off walking down a path that was turning right all the time. It was an asphalt path with grass and trees either side. As well as turning right it seemed to be going down like a spiral. I stopped walking but was still moving as if on skates getting faster and faster until everything looked blurred as it sped past. I felt giddy and disorientated and then everything went white and I felt as if I was part of the white. Then I felt like I was in a white balloon as I could see what looked like fingers poking it from the other side. It burst and I found myself in a small children's playground surrounded by a metal fence. The children were all laughing and very noisy. I felt I wanted to get out of this playground and began to get taller, growing higher and higher until my head was in space. It was quiet and peaceful as I looked round at all the stars and planets. I stood there wondering if I really wanted to stay there or go back to the noise and excitement of the playground...

This week we both experienced giddiness and a wanting to rise up out of a situation.

I put the music on and we continued our session...

I soon started seeing white wispy shapes moving around the room followed by bright blobs coming and going.
Then I started seeing what looked like green moss.

At one point I was thinking about communications from spirit and how it was difficult for us to know what it was really like after we die as there were varying accounts from different mediums especially on the subject of reincarnation.
Then I got a sudden urge to listen to the words of the song playing at the time and heard...
'The greatest thing you'll ever learn is just to love and be loved in return'

When the music CD finished Liz began to speak...

'I'm looking at a tiled wall in a kitchen or bathroom with patterns on it like children's drawings, yellow and cream colours, not strong colours'

Me... 'There is a Henry in my family but it goes back along way'

Out of what Liz said Henry is a part of my family. I couldn't confirm the other things she said about him as he died before I was born so don't know anything else about him.

There is also someone who was a keen fisherman connected with me which could possibly tie up with the fish mentioned but there was nothing else mentioned about this person.
