This group began sitting in July 2013 as an experiment using the 'Basic Guide' published by the 'Scole Experimental Group' in 1996.

We've changed the way we sit over the years. I am continuing to develop trance mediumship and Liz gives a mixture of evidential clairvoyance, inspired speaking and trance...

Our intentions are to receive information that will help us understand the bigger picture, why we are here, what happens when we die, the mechanics of mediumship and how we can help in raising the quality of consciousness...

144th Sitting 05/09/2017


We had the room setup as usual.

I did the opening prayer at 8.20pm, turned out the light and put the music on.

We did the Rainbow Bridge visualisation exercise...

Liz started off in front of a waterfall coming out of the mouth of a statue of a dragon. She then went through the dragon's mouth which was heart shaped into a dark tunnel. It was like going back through the womb, slippery as if there were membranes on the side. Liz was on a mat sliding down and felt a bit like Alice going down the rabbit hole. A speck of light got bigger as Liz reached the opening and she came out into snow and found herself on a toboggan racing down a slope with walls of snow either side. It was almost flying over the snow and Liz jumped off sending her rolling in the snow. She then found herself with a group of people and children laughing and playing in the snow, making snowmen and snow houses. Liz was aware she was in a kind of Eskimo body but her face was Chinese and refined. She was drinking a warm salty soup and felt she was in Tibet with lots of people around her and bells ringing. A sense of community, all interconnected and incredible happiness. There was a beautiful temple with monks and they were all connected somehow. Inside the temple Liz became part of a dance with whirling dervishes going round and round, faster and faster, weaving in and out of each other. It was creating an energy vortex lifting them up off the ground like cork screws. Liz felt this was creating a kind of physical phenomena...

I started off just looking into the darkness waiting for something to happen. Eventually I saw curtains like on a stage which parted to reveal a long straight road disappearing into the distance ahead of me. I thought about walking down it but decided to just wait and see what happened. As I watched I saw cracks appearing in the road and it started to break up and disappear. I got the urge to turn around and see what was behind me but I couldn't turn. I tried to feel what was behind me but couldn't and I held up a mirror but could see nothing in it. Then the whole scene around me started to rotate. I stood still as it came around 180 degrees and was now looking at what had been behind me. There was a row of monks in hooded robes all holding loaves of bread and one of them came up to me and broke the loaf in half to reveal an egg which he gave to me and I put it on a table in front of me. It started to crack open and two black birds came out of it. They picked up a sheet holding the top two corners in their beaks. It was a long thin sheet full of writing like a long story but I couldn't read it. They flew above and over me to where the road had been and laid the sheet down in the same place. I was now facing this story ahead of me...

I put the music back on and we continued our session...

I started to see flashes and flickers around the room and then it became lighter and misty.
I saw bright blobs coming and going and there were a few faces amongst them but none I recognised.

Liz fell asleep for a while and I was drifting in and out of it throughout the session.

Liz began to speak as the music CD ended...

'I've got this cave and there are some words over the entrance like Alexia... I asked where the cave was... it's in Scotland'

'I've got the word conundrum and a round ball, a sense of the Tibetan terma, knowledge hidden in a concrete structure like a wall... something like lightening, enlightening'

'I've got something like a code, like an analytical trace, a spectral, small bits with information, peeks on either side of a base line, information strip. I'm asking if that's a way that they can get evidence, influence an information strip like on the magnetometer'

'I keep getting stuck with Tea Ceremony...'

'Full moon... a feeling of rituals connected with phases of the moon, celestial phenomena. Gregorian chanting, telemetry, meteors... suddenly got this sense of an avalanche of information coming, seismic... drip, drip, drip... fear of information overload'

'I'm looking at a veil, like a curtain. There are people behind it. If I draw back the curtain they disappear, it's as though I'm just staring into space. If I put the curtain back I can see their shapes. I sense a hand reaching out from the other side of the curtain and I'm reaching out my hand to hold it, grasp it. I asked who's there, they said Susan. I asked if everything's alright? They said everything's alright, we love you. They said something that doesn't make any sense, salad making storks, corn stubbles... They said thank you for reading my poetry, we'll read yours... and the bridge between worlds, bridging the worlds, kaleidoscope, comforting, dancing shapes. A lot of creative people telling me not to feel unworthy... seismic, seizures, a commotion, cold comfort...'

'Going back to the gladiolus... Christopher... next to Christopher is Hilary'

'Picture of an old man... looks a bit like the old man that used to appear on Quaker Oats porridge, it's a Quaker... feels like something out of Jane Austin... he looks like pictures we've seen of Magnus. Got the name Colonel or Colin. A feeling of gentleman's clubs, like a group of colleagues in a club, no women, like masons'

'In place of the land registry we have this large agricultural community, cooperative... and this was the meaning behind Communism. Not the individual land ownership but the shared enterprise owned by all, the Earth and all its resources are given to the many, given freely to all. With private ownership it's not in accordance with the cosmic directory, it's in defiance of natural law, should not be allowed, will not be allowed, will not be tolerated. We will wipe out private ownership, it's a travesty'

'Harvest, cornfield, something circular, looking at the sun... I wonder if this is to do with crop circles? Picture of butterfly wings, we don't know the real purpose, the patterning, lots of patterning in information, we don't know how to read it, it's there for us to read'

'Yellow, the feeling of gorse, smells of coconut, prickly'

'I keep coming back to that strip, that information strip, like a long-toothed comb with prongs either side. Some association with music, encoding harmonic information, pythagorean music of the spheres, harmonies, patterning, all part of this great mathematical pattern encoded in the light. Our physical world is information encoded in light. We unravel it, interpret it through different senses all singing from the same hymn sheet. Different presentation, different rendering, echoing, reflecting his glory... gladiolus, thank you for the gladioli, we're all reflecting, reflections of his glory encoded in light'

'Got this picture of a zebra, the most amazing pattern of the zebra stripes like a bar-code. We each have our bar-code, that's the amazing similarity and uniqueness of patterns containing information. Looks like the ISBN number at the back of a book... so I've come to the end of the book, this is the end now so thank you'

I put a tune on as Liz came back.


I then did the healing exercise, closing prayer and our closing down exercise...
