This group began sitting in July 2013 as an experiment using the 'Basic Guide' published by the 'Scole Experimental Group' in 1996.

We've changed the way we sit over the years. I am continuing to develop trance mediumship and Liz gives a mixture of evidential clairvoyance, inspired speaking and trance...

Our intentions are to receive information that will help us understand the bigger picture, why we are here, what happens when we die, the mechanics of mediumship and how we can help in raising the quality of consciousness...

137th Sitting 09/05/2017


We had the room setup as usual.

I did the opening prayer at 8.10pm, turned out the light and put the music on.

We did the Rainbow Bridge visualisation exercise...

Liz started off amongst tulips looking into their black centres, at the stamens. They were in part of a walled garden leading down to a large flowing river. Liz followed it to the left and it started spreading out into an enormous lake and over the other side of the lake Liz saw someone she knew who had died holding out his hands to her. She was very pleased to see him and then found herself by his side. He wanted to show her something important and it was like white fluffy goose feathers all around them, like eiderdown. The message he was trying to get across was comfort, the importance of being comfortable. Feeling completely at ease and relaxed was incredibly important. Too much of the time we are stressed, full of anxiety. Then Liz found they were on a croquet lawn, people were throwing coloured hoops over skittles and his parents were also there. He was explaining that comfort meant different things to different people as he was playing this very leisurely game in this large green garden. They then went on to a large auditorium out in the forest and there were voices and music coming from the trees and hills. There were lights all around them like an enormous theatre show, they were inundated in it, surrounded by it and he said this was also a form of leisure, of ease, of comfort. It gives comfort to the soul and is to be welcomed and important. They then went up to a higher level of white light and oneness, like being in the eiderdown but in the clouds, a sense of absolute unitedness, connected with everything like everything was one. He said this was a very high form of comfort, ease and leisure. He was stressing the importance of giving in to making sure you were doing what makes you feel completely at ease and comfortable with yourself and that meant you'd be in the right state to be able to expand, to be in the right state of harmony...

I started off following a boy on a bicycle pedaling away along old cobbled streets. I seemed to be connected to him, being pulled along. We were going downhill getting faster and faster when a pair of wings sprouted out each side of the bike and we took off into the sky getting higher and higher until we were in space. We were passing planets and as we got close to each one I got a feeling from it. Some felt calm, at ease, loving and warm whereas others felt stressed, fearful and cold and made me feel uncomfortable as I got close to them. I felt I wanted to help and managed to move some of the calm planets close to one of the stressed ones. I found I needed seven calm planets to circulate a stressed one like moons before the loving energies were absorbed by the stressed planet making it calm and at ease like the others. I then got close to the Earth and sensed a mixture of calm loving energy and also stressed fearful energy and again I wanted to help but found I couldn't. I felt that the Earth was at a point where it could go either way and it was up to those who inhabited it as to which way it would go...

Interesting that we both got situations where calm, loving energy was used to relieve stress.

I put the music back on and we continued our session.

I had my eyes closed and experience a flash in front of my eyes like someone shining a torch.
Then the room started to look light and misty followed by bright blobs coming and going.

Liz saw some shining discs of silver then got an image of her friend Silver with a white horse. She had a connection with Red Cross and felt Silver was here to do some healing.

Liz continued...

'I have an image of bedraggled people like refugees eating a bowl of peaches and cream, feeding the poor, bringing comfort to the poor and dispossessed... I get the word restore because we are restoring the people to their true state of comfort and ease'

Liz was getting hot.
I was cold.

'I've got a lot of random words rushing through like Tybold and grapefruit'

'I have this strange image, a bit like a dream, of a man calling a little girl, calling her to play but she was invisible, I couldn't see her, it was like they were on two sides of a divide, not sure which was which, don't know who they were, maybe the little girl was in spirit and the man was physical or the other way round'

'I just saw a woman with downs syndrome who I used to work with attached to a pretty young girl. She was there in her older form and I just realised it could be the same person. I said to her you don't need to hold onto that old form now, I think maybe she was showing me how she is now, she looked happy, maybe she showed me that so I could recognise her'

'I get the words there is a parting of the ways and that leads to our destiny and I guess the parting of the ways is the letting go of the old form that's out worn its usefulness. That was just a cloak, a garment, an outmoded form and we've progressed to the unmolded, pristine, restored to former glory, with whom we are forever one'

'The word terrestrial comes with other words like tempest, torment, turbulent, terror, testing, trials and tribulations'

'Direct experience serves to define the characteristics of the soul. These are selected from all possible outcomes, all possible permutations. A bit like throwing a dice but the skill is in the throw, the die is cast. There are moments before it lands where a small gust, a small effort, change or shift can make all the difference. A sense of where it will land or the outcome and if the outcome is not favourable, not in accordance with the fundamental, with the after image, the projected path, a measurement can be taken, a move, a shift of focus, just the right point, it's the skill of the game and that requires a constant checking-in with the projected plan, the desired outcome but to be clear and to have that clarity, to remember, to reclaim the lost image, the lost projection. You see we come with a template, a forecast and to build into that forecast there are many possible points of shift away from, a diversion but to stay true requires mastery of the present. Many fall short because they forget where they're at and what was the projected plan, they lose their way. Checking-in could be taught in schools. Very few understand this possibility and the importance of this checking-in because the majority have forgotten that there was a plan. Each individual comes with some plan, lessons to be learnt, marks to be made, efforts to be made, qualities to express, actions to be undertaken, amends to be made, the overall navigation of the path to fulfil and to bring to life the latent possibilities of this model, every incarnation but sometimes the possibilities are overwhelming and to discern what is most important and possible needs help. Ask, ask for the help and the help will be given. The help is always there when it's asked for wholeheartedly'

136th Sitting 02/05/2017


We had the room setup as usual.

I did the opening prayer at 7.15pm, turned out the light and put the music on.

We did the Rainbow Bridge visualisation exercise...

Liz started off seeing an archway through to a garden. As she went to go through it, it kept getting further and further away and then Liz found herself going down a long tunnel to get to the garden which seemed to get more and more enclosed as she went through it. It then became like a hospital corridor and the opening into the garden was like transparent plastic strips which she managed to go through and found herself out on a runway of an airport. Liz felt there was a plane there for her but didn't need one as she had an engine on her back and she took off into the sky heading towards some purple mountains in the distance. They were speckled with gold gleaming lakes and buildings. Liz landed on a mountain that had a spiral pathway and beautiful gardens and forests. There was a group of people like pilgrims dressed in white going up this spiral path and Liz joined them. She felt she was one of a large group all chanting together with complete love and harmony and they were all focused on this journey upwards. The landscape spread out and it was now like they were in an enormous grove and there were talks being given on spiritual teaching. They were all given hammocks to lie in and Liz had a feeling of complete rest and tranquillity. She felt she could stay there forever but also knew that when they were ready they would continue their upward journey...

I started off in front of a huge smooth rock with a cave in it that was leading downwards somewhere. I then felt myself being turned around and saw a forest behind me. I felt I had a choice to go into the cave or into the forest, and decided to go into the cave. It was like a narrow tunnel with steps going down and burning candles on the walls lighting them up. The walls looked very green with a kind of moss growing on them and as I went down the thought came to me that it was easy going down so tried to change the direction of the tunnel using my imagination. I managed to get the tunnel to go upwards but had to keep focused on it going upwards otherwise it would start going down again. The colour of the walls changed from green to yellow like sandstone and as I went up it got steeper and steeper. The steps then changed to a rope ladder as I was now going straight up. The sandstone walls started to disappear and I was in a kind of nothingness. The ladder now looked like chrome and I saw an arm reach down to me which I grabbed and it pulled me up onto an open shell like a clamshell then the arm dissolved into the shell leaving me sitting alone. I felt the warmth of the sun as if I was being rejuvenated or charged up by it and I felt I had to just sit there and soak up the energies of the sun...

Once again there were several similarities in our visualisations.

I put the music back on and we continued our session...

I was trying some Buddhist meditations but ended up falling asleep until just before the end of the music CD.

Liz remained awake and began to speak just after the music CD finished...

'Bluebird, two bluebirds... I'm looking at a round, oval window in a hedge. Looking through to an area of scrub, trees, a football pitch, swans...'

'When all is said and done we have the wild nature, we have the wilderness, we have the Earth to come home to, she is our friend, our companion. The Earth and the sky are our friends, our companions, part of our journey to be treasured, to be experienced, to be nurtured, to be enjoyed. When we recover our connection the bluebird will come for us to be with us. We must see again how everything that is useful to us comes from the Earth, is given freely and all of our healing comes from the Earth, we are of the Earth, our bodies, Earth to Earth, dust to dust. It is as if the spirit inhabited a house, that house is Earth and we love our Earth, our house supports us during our habitation, we must keep it habitable for it is a temporary home for our spirit. When the spirit flies free it often looks for its home, for the place for it to land, to recover, to discover, to learn, to experience. It needs its place, its house, its school. When the spirit flies free without constraint it's everywhere and all ways and spacious but then it wants to be focused, to have a place, to have a spot where it can enrich, where it can learn, where it can become more enriched. That place is Earth, this Earth for us. Treasure it, keep it complete, keep it entact, keep it fresh and welcoming'

'There are many today on Earth who have lost the connection, who cannot feel the peace and the nurture, the love of nature and the support of the Earth and they feel lost and alienated in a maelstrom of conflicts, war zones, noise, confusion, pollution, industry and stress with no time to rest their feet on the Earth and to see the stars complete in the night without light pollution. Their place is lost, they're in the Earth but they do not know the Earth and their mother is lost to them. They are lost and they do not want their life very much because they've lost their place, their true place and that is a sad thing, that needs to be restored, that needs healing and the re-connection must be made, must be learnt, re-learnt. It is not a luxury to roll in the grass, to spend time by the lakes and the hills and the sea and under the sky, to camp out, to live in the forest, it is not a holiday or a luxury it is a necessity, it is a fundamental right and a need and that need must be met if life, human life is not to be lost. The full human must have the connection of the birthright, it is the birthright to have your feet on the Earth and your head in the stars. The full human cannot flourish, cannot evolve, cannot fully incarnate if that birthright is denied and lost. When it is lost humanity is lost. Reclaim the birthright of the Earthlings, restore...'

'I see the water lily and its roots are deep in mud of the Earth beneath the water, deep down, firmly rooted and every year the lily opens its petals to the sun, rises up out of the water and becomes a home for the dragonflies and newts and insects. A flower of great beauty, the buds open, the leaves open to the sun and in the winter they die down again to return with the roots deep in the Earth ready to flourish anew with the new sun, with the Spring and the Summer and all the time the connection with the Earth and the nourishment and nutrition from the Earth, deep in the Earth is sustaining the flower, sustaining the flowering and that must be true to the flowering of the human, the strength of the human is rooted in the Earth and rises and grows in the sun. Our wish is for humanity to flower and flourish in the Earth and to reach out and sing to the sun'

'I get an image like a river, like a river of consciousness, a strand, into which so many people are feeding and have been fed information, emotion. We're being fed by that also, that's feeding the mind and it's accumulative wisdom, not to be sneezed at, not to be dismissed lightly, call it the perennial wisdom. We keep coming back to it, it's the core understandings that have been gleaned from the sojourns on the Earth, the Earth experience'

'Somebody says it's hard to digest all of this... that may go back to the fact that it's not easy to acknowledge that you've set off on the wrong path or you've lost your way. There's a tendency to keep going because to have to retrace your steps and go back to the starting point again is almost like an admission of failure but it's not, it's what the scientist does all the time in going back to the drawing board, redesigning. You have to go back and start from scratch sometimes when you realise that you may have been on the wrong track and that's the valid point of experimentation and learning, feedback. Back to the drawing board is a learning strategy, the deconditioning, the un-learning in order to get a better grip, have a better journey, a better experimental design, you have to do it, no point in carrying on for the sake of it, out of inertia, out of a resistance to change, back to square one, back to step one. That's not a loss, that's recouping your losses. Start from first principles, go back to the root, the starting point'

135th Sitting 11/04/2017


We had the room setup as usual.

I did the opening prayer at 7.05pm, turned out the light and put the music on.

We did the Rainbow Bridge visualisation exercise...

Liz started off on a ledge at the top of an enormous ravine with waterfalls and rainbows either side of her. To cross over there was a bridge made of vines and creepers like banana leaves. It looked incredibly scary, a shaky rope bridge hundreds of feet across. Part of Liz thought she didn't have to use the bridge, she could just fly over but she also felt she should go over the physical way. She felt all these fears not trusting that the bridge would support her. She could see creatures on the other side like unicorns and lots of magical things enticing her over so Liz started to cross carefully feeling each strut and supporting herself. It was swaying with big gaps between the creepers like being in a big wire mesh basket. Liz then became aware that the creepers had turned into thick hairy rope, more robust and substantial, she was creating the bridge as she went over it and had to concentrate on each piece as she went. Liz eventually reached the other side and stepped up onto a wooden platform. She found herself on a chalky grassland. The questions came to her mind... What made her cross? Why did she need to cross? She felt she had to sit down for a while before going anywhere and contemplate that question...

I started off at the edge of a chalky cliff a bit like Beachy Head, standing on the grass looking over the edge. I couldn't see the bottom as there was a thick layer of fog and I got the urge to jump into this fog but at the same time thought that was a dangerous idea. Eventually I built up the courage to jump but instead of going straight down I found myself on a kind of slide and then realised I was sliding down a giant snake going up and down its curved body and then off the end and onto another snake. There were lots of snakes there preventing me from getting into the fog. After a while I slid off one of the snakes and landed back on the edge of the cliff. When I looked down again I couldn't see the snakes so jumped off again but the same thing happened. The snakes only seemed to be there when I jumped. I turned round and saw there was a wall of fog behind me so started to walk towards it but as I did so it moved further away from me so I never reached it. I sat down on a bench to assess the situation and saw a man walk out of the fog dressed like a knight from the times of King Arthur. He sat down on the bench but didn't seem to see me. I tried to touch him but my hand went through him as if he was made of fog. I then tried to reach the fog again running as fast as I could but the faster I went the faster the fog receded so I gave up and returned to the bench where the man had disappeared...

There were lots of similarities in our visualisations this week.

I put the music back on and we continued the session...

The atmosphere looked flashy to me especially near the ceiling and I could see this with my eyes open or closed.
I felt a pressure on my right ear and it looked light to my right.
I saw bright blobs coming and going in front of me.

I fell asleep for about 10 mins waking up just before the music stopped.

Liz had been drifting in and out of sleep while the music was playing.
She started to speak just after it finished. Her voice was a bit slurred at first and she later said it felt like her body was still asleep during the communication...

'I have the sense of the umbrella and a bridge and the connection between, a different dimension and the difficulty we have in believing our correct intrusion into all dimensions and levels simultaneously. We have a deep rooted belief in the physical reality, all the structures and limitations which inhibits us from exploring freely, moving freely from one frame to the next. Although that is sublimely possible we get stuck. The umbrella is a device, a physical device, it's a metaphor for a construct that provides shelter, air lift, connection, like a parachute. So to have a symbolic physical piece of apparatus you can develop for yourself, that will be versatile and portable and allow you the luxury of free passage. You can use it as an aid like a magic wand that everyone can create their own. It's not an essential item and in itself does nothing much but it is a construct that allows the mind to overcome the stuckness, the block, the limitation, it helps it to get over it, bypass it. Knowing you have this little tool will facilitate your out of body transvibrational jumps but knowing you wish to explore, knowing you are curious, you want to discover the reality and to probe the many dimensional facets of your total reality. This will help and the reason is in itself in your innate nature. Who wouldn't want to explore and discover? It's a natural part of your development, your expansion, your evolution. So that is reason enough and if you are sitting wondering why you are bothering to do this, what is the purpose? The purpose is in itself a natural, natural conditional, your spiritual humanity to explore, to adventure, to be curious, to know fully, why not? Allow, let, accept, be free to be who you are fully and gloriously. Conditioning and fear hold you back but there are ways round this. You can overcome your fears and your self imposed obstacles by preparing, by preparation, by what we've suggested is a magic device, a construct which understands and acknowledges and accepts that you have these blockages, these beliefs, these fears that hold you back so you need a way of getting beyond them, overcoming them. They are there, you can't just say I have no fear, I have no impediment, I have no blockages, I have no obstructions but you can prepare yourself with a magical device, a magic wand. A bit like the fairy godmother that helped Cinderella to cast off her rags and her belief in her victimhood and shine in the beautiful dresses and the splendour of a princess that was her desired state and the fairy godmother was just a useful device of her consciousness to overcome the self imposed limitations. Don't deride the limitations, you adopt them for a reason and they keep you intact in the physical frame so you can thoroughly experience and explore this one state but it's very natural, like a bird in a cage, to want to go free but the benefit of the cage is temporary and the bird maybe was injured, maybe wanted to feed up, to be protected for a while or just perhaps the keeper of the bird wanted to observe, wanted to investigate. Perhaps others are observing and scientifically assessing the qualities, the dimensions of this little bird and the bird can allow itself to be observed and held back and looked after for a while but its intrinsic nature will make it look for the open door of the cage eventually so it can go free but it may choose to keep coming back. Perhaps it recognises that it is doing its keeper a service by being in the cage, it's allowing its keeper to survey, to assess, to investigate it. Well that's just one way of looking at it. So don't despair or despise your limited self, your restricted self, it's all part of a larger picture in which you have freely given consent... God bless you'

'I've got this image again like a hole in the fabric of reality through which the otherness comes through, the true nature comes through and it's like clinging to the rope of the rope bridge which has large spaces between the weave that you could fall through almost but if you recognise that actually there's nowhere to fall through, you can allow yourself to let go of the ropes and be in the otherness and it's okay when you're ready. You can hold fast again to the rope if that's what you want but you can oscillate between the two, the opening of the hole and the fabric of the bridge and this is the image I get of being a hole in the fabric through which the truth can filter through and that hole is quite large'

'I got the names Gilbert, Francis, Francesca, a fat lady a bit like Hattie Jacques but in an old fashioned dress and she's cleaning the floor, like a mixture between this fabric and this net and an ordinary floor. She is very happy and I get the feeling it's like a healing, she's tightening the meshes somehow, repairing it'

Then Liz got a click sensation in her left ear and felt she was receiving some healing as she has a problem with her ear at the moment.

134th Sitting 04/04/2017


We had the room setup as usual.

I did the opening prayer at 7.35pm, turned out the light and put the music on.

We did the Rainbow Bridge visualisation exercise...

Liz started off walking and dancing on an enormous stretch of hard sand with lots of pools of sea water reflecting the moonlight with rainbows in it. She then began to feel a spiral energy like a column of energy going up and up. It was made up of lots of people and Liz was part of it going round and round and up and up. Other people were getting off but Liz wanted to go on up and see how far she could go and came to a large plateau where she got off. It was a tropical woodland setting in moonlight and she could feel the greenness of the large forest leaves. Liz came to a clearing where she found herself surrounded by people with a character in the centre a bit like Pan playing pipes, a warm friendly place. Liz continued walking through the forest with some of the other people and came to a city. It was a city of light and Liz felt she was home, in a familiar place. Everyone had a deep connection with the environment. There was a large pool and waterfall with people swimming in it and connected with the water. Liz then found herself back on the hard sand as if she hadn't gone anywhere with a sense of elemental nature spirits around her, connected with the Earth and the healing energy from it. Liz laid down and put her head on the sand and felt the connection and the healing energy of the Earth...

I started off looking down on what looked like a huge umbrella with a round platform below it. There was light shining down onto the platform from the umbrella and I could see lots of people on the round platform. I was floating above it and everywhere else looked dark. I then noticed that one of the people was looking at me and beckoning me to come down and join them. I tried to get down but found myself stuck in the air so I visualised a thread between me and the platform and used it to pull myself down to them. Then the umbrella moved up a little spreading the light and I saw that surrounding the platform were thousands of seats as if we were on a round stage performing a play with an audience around us but all the seats were empty. One of the people then asked me to run as fast as I could which seemed a bit odd to me as it was only a small stage but I did as asked and found I could run as far as I wanted and never reached the edge of the stage. They told me I was creating my own reality. I could be on top of a mountain or in a forest or a dessert or swimming in the sea. I tried all these things and found I could be wherever I wanted, there were no limits, space didn't seem to exist on this stage. I asked why there were empty seats around us and they said that they were actually full of people but I wasn't able to see them. They went on to explain that these people on the seats were actually us, a part of us, observing us as characters on a stage acting out a play and it was important that we act out this play as best we can, to be kind and help others, live a good life and make to most of every opportunity. This was beneficial to all life and all existence...

I put the music back on and we continued the session...

I had felt a strong presence to my right just after the Rainbow Bridge Exercise and I still felt there was something there for a few minutes.
I saw blobs coming and going in front of me.
I got an image of babies swimming underwater.

Liz remained silent while the music was playing then began to speak a few minutes after it finished...

'I sense this long slithering snake like energy and it encompasses both the good and the bad in the archetype of the snake, the wisdom and the subtle energy, the energy that connects with our source like the umbilical cord but there's also the negative, the venomous, the fear, so it contains in the one, the double helix, two strands, good and evil, good and bad, negative and positive energies that bind us, connect us with Heaven and Earth. We hear of the dark gross energy and the brightness of Heaven and the two are intertwined in the serpent energy, a spiral of life and death. There is a sense of the purpose of our being in the Earth plane is to realise the complementary energies of these two strands, the dark and the light, negative and positive, good and bad, and to bring them together to experience the contrast and to unify them into the one experience like the chequer board, days and nights. Experience on all levels in our emotional life from the love to the hate, both sides of one coin. Joy to the abject misery, both sides of one coin. The weakness and strength, both sides of one coin and in experiencing these extremes we have to learn the middle way, the unification pathway to balance and to harmonise, to understand those forces that predominate in the Earth, one man's horses that predominate in the sun. We're travellers on a pathway and when we come home we all tell our tale and the tales will be bound in a book and the book will be called the book of life'

133rd Sitting 14/03/2017

We had the room setup as usual.

I did the opening prayer at 7.10pm, turned out the light and put the music on.

We did the Rainbow Bridge visualisation exercise...

Liz found herself standing in front of a very fast flowing deep river watching the lights reflected on it from the moon and stars and surrounding buildings. She became aware of white stepping stones but they were deep down in the water and Liz wondered how she could cross the river without going under water. She then saw plastic fairy figures on the water and scooped them up throwing then across to the other side. Liz then decided she would try to cross on the stepping stones even though it would mean going under the water, she felt this was meant to happen and as she went deeper and deeper she became aware that she was in contact with all the roots of trees spreading out like being on a forest floor. Liz felt this was the level where you have contact with the universal unconscious, the Earth's unconscious and she was aware that around her were all these little creatures like elves, faries, knomes and butterflies and they all had their part to play. Liz then became aware of the importance of having feet on the Earth and the importance of cobblers in fairy stories making shoes because the feet are important, through them we feel the vibrations of the Earth. The faries were making music with panpipes and string instruments and this music was important as it was another connection with the Earth energies. We need to be in touch with that deep level of the elementals because they are at the elemental level, the deepest level of the Earth. Then Liz saw that the stepping stones were bending round to the right and as she followed them she saw in the distance a tall white tower like a temple stretching up out of the Earth, a spiritual accent...

I started off seeing a coach and black horses. It looked like a hearse, big glass windows and had glass steps at the back leading inside. I went in and there was one seat facing forward so I sat on that and then the horses started to move off along a twisty, narrow country road. There were people at the side throwing flowers that landed on the roof, like large daisies. The horses then changed colour to white and started to take off up into the sky. The scene then changed, I saw a toddler boy like what I had seen at the end of our Mercury Light session last Thursday. He had all the daisies in his arms and arranged them in a circle around us. Then a big glass bubble rose up from the daisy circle encasing us in this glass dome which then suddenly burst and we found ourselves in a cartoon reality full of children and cartoon characters playing and the toddler ran off with them. I then found myself looking at the reality as if it was on a TV screen and there were other people with me who seemed to be connected with the children. They told me this was the reality that children went to when they die, it had been created by them and they could stay there as long as they wanted until they were ready to move on...

I put the music back on and we continued the session...

It started to look flickery in the room to me and looked lighter each side of me.
I saw a few dim lights moving around.
I got an image of a pair of slippers and a toy dog.

Liz began to speak...

'I've got the word oval... made me think of Oval House near Brixton, an art centre for young people'

'I'm aware of a young man being sick in a bowl or wash basin'

'I have a sense of flat roofs like in Middle Eastern country. I'm aware of a long line of young men being asked their financial status, a sense of them being questioned. They were dressed like the young man that was being sick in the bowl'

'I asked for a message, I just got this image of a dove, bird of peace, with an olive branch in it's mouth, or mistletoe'

'Telegraph pole, newspapers, the whole information network... I'm asking who's in charge of this information network and I got some nightmarish figures like in Marilyn Peake's novels, they look like trolls and a white sheep, a sinister sheep'

'I see this mirror spread out over the Earth, a mirror like in Snow White, the mirror the Queen looks in and says... Mirror, mirror on the wall, who's the fairest of them all? The mirror does show the truth but not the truth that you want, not the truth that you believe but the truth that's maybe unwelcome because you may believe you are fair and beautiful but the mirror may show otherwise. I see a very fine line and it's going from the very bottom right up to the top, beyond the clouds, the fine line that takes you to truth. It's like a very strong but very fine line that you can follow like a discernment and that's the quality of what is true and not true. It's the spiritual quality of discernment, to be able to discern what is true and what is not true, the false from the truth. You have to have this connection with the beginning and the end like an overview. We're being shown a lot of untruths, a lot of images, a lot of unwelcome information that may not reflect the truth. To know what is true and what isn't requires this discernment, this fine connecting line between Heaven and Earth, between the mundane and the absolute, the differentiated and the undifferentiated, to know the beginnings and the ends, the opposites and the togethers, it's the fine line of wisdom. Wisdom is discernment, the judgment, it's a hair breadth, it's so fine, it's like Occam's razor, a knife edge, it's the in-between. You will be asked... Is it true that all men are born equal? And you begin with saying let's look at this, it may be and it may not be and you look at the assertion and you look for instances where men are not born equal, some have no legs, no mental faculties, no common sense and others have great gifts and intelligence and physical prowess and you say well that doesn't seem like equal but then you say in what sense? In what other sense could they be equal? So you go on looking. A fool might say oh yes that's true but that would be just a belief because has he really looked, has he used his mind to discern whether there is truth in that statement, what is the case? If you put your hand in this water at zero degrees centigrade your hand will be cold, will freeze. Is this true? And you have to check, you have to discern. It may be a case for a lot of people that there maybe anomalies, maybe there is someone who can put their hand in and it won't be cold, it won't have the same effect. We have the diamond wisdom and that's the many faceted aspect of truth like in a prism. You can split the light into many colours and each of them is an element of the white light, each of them is true but the whole truth is when they all come together, the whole truth can be split into many facets of the truth, to know the whole truth we have the whole diamond. We have partial knowledge, partial understanding and the wise man knows this, knows that he doesn't know. He has to fathom the truth, he has to discern, he has to sift the false beliefs from the actual experience of how it is. How it is shifts, it is not fixed, is there anything that is fixed? Knowledge itself is evolving so from the mortal point of view the truth may change, may evolve. What is true today may not be true tomorrow. A keen mind, a creative active mind moves with the times, is constantly reassessing, re-evaluating, refocusing, refiltering. It's not static or stagnant but the many minds in the world are fixed, they're holding on to old outmoded ideas and beliefs. They're not in the present, they're not vital, they're deadened, dull, content to be fed the false images from the mirror of the trolls without understanding, without interrogating. You have to interrogate the mirror, what is it I am seeing? Am I the fairest in the land? Is someone else fairer than me? That may or may not be true, the magic mirror may be lying. Test it, check it out, don't believe without evidence, without discernment. Trust your own ability to find the wire, the line, the tap, the infinitely fine line, the razor edge. Intuitive wisdom to see what is as opposed to mirage, reflections, mirror images, the face behind the mirror, the face behind the face, the space behind the space. Look for the gaps, the intrinsic properties, taste the full flavour, savour the full scent, appreciate the full touch, resonate with the full sound, see with the full vision, use all these faculties and the deep inner vision, the intuitive vision. Use what you are given and more will be given and if you don't use it you loose it and it withers and dies, you become dull. There are many that are born and it is as if they haven't been born at all, their lives are on hold, they have not fully incarnated, they haven't fully become human, they haven't grasped the full opportunity and they've wasted their time content to feed on lies, content to believe in the mirror images that are fed to them. So pause in your lives and take stock and ask yourself what is true in all this. Is there truth and what is it to me, what is my truth, what do I truly know and if you are asked a question is this the case? don't say yes, don't say no, say maybe and then look because if you jump to the yes or you jump to the no you have fixed that truth one way or the other before you have jumped to the in-between and looked from all angles, from all perspectives, all possibilities. So wiser to stay a while with maybe and consider and test and contemplate... That’s the beginning of wisdom'

132nd Sitting 07/03/2017


We had the room setup as usual.

I did the opening prayer at 7.40pm, turned out the light and put the music on.

We did the Rainbow Bridge visualisation exercise...

Liz found herself with the moon in front of a choppy sea. She was then swimming through the waves towards a boat feeling excited. Liz pulled herself up onto the boat which had only one person on it. She wasn't sure if it was male or female but probably female with a triangular hairdo that reminded Liz of an Egyptian headdress. Then Liz was looking at this person from above who was looking up at her and Liz realised it was a person she knew, it was Sheila Routh who had done illustrations for one of Liz's books called Giliatorsin in the 1960s. Liz then became aware of all these Egyptian friezes, long horizontal bands of pictures but they were of childhood animals like the Beatrix Potter animals. Liz reached down and pulled Sheila up with her and they found themselves with patterns and mythological creatures. Then Liz found herself by a cupboard that was tightly closed like two intertwining claws but she managed to pull it open and out tumbled children's toys. It was like a memory of childhood juxtaposed with how we have left it all behind. The adult world is engaged in games but of a different nature, it was a sense of the innocence of children looking up to the adults. Liz felt it was a locked away part of ourselves but it needed opening up and readdressing. That time of play was very important for children and they should have that for as long as possible. Children that had been damaged or traumatised should have these toys to play and act out their dramas and hurts which was very important...

I started off in a tower block looking out of a window at the moon. It was bright and full and as I looked it seemed to be starting to boil like looking into a boiling, bubbling pot of porridge. Then I found myself moving towards it up into the sky and as I got closer I felt the heat coming from it as it boiled away and bits were shooting off it as it bubbled coating me it what appeared to be warm white blobs of porridge. As I got closer I turned so that my back got coated as well and I saw a giant gorilla looking at me. When it saw that I had seen it it turned and disappeared in another direction. The next thing I knew I was landing on my back on the moon and continuing through it. I was swimming through this hot thick porridge which got cooler as I went through then I popped out the other side which was dark and cold. It was the dark side of the moon but the white coating I had was still shining and producing light and as I hovered over the surface I lit it up and the baron surface started to become green with plants and trees. I was aware of dark coloured birds flying around me looking like prehistoric birds but they didn't like the light I was emitting and flew away to be replaced by colourful tropical birds that flew around and landed in the green trees...

Liz found my visualisation very interesting as it was very similar to one of the stories in her book Giliatorsin.

I put the music back on and we continued our session...

I had an image of a coin with the head of Silver Birch on it.

Liz had an image of a black swan.

Liz continued...

'I've got a strong image of Princess Diana. I'm looking at a necklace around her neck with cut jewels, not sure if they're diamonds... it's like I'm looking at a jig-saw puzzle'

Liz then fell asleep for about ten minutes.

Then she continued...

'I've still got this picture of Princess Diana and this diamond necklace... very gentle... just got Rupert Bear... I guess all those little children and toys would have been close to her heart... I had a feeling she was saying something about Tiggy the nanny with the boys. I just had a feeling of her, warm and encouraging, she played with the boys. Tiggy Legge-Bourke, I think that's her name, yes I think she had a soft spot for troubled kids. She recognised the value of toys and play... Almost like jaconda or jacinth, orange blossom, lilac, lovely flowers... yes don't forget Tiggy... I got the name Holly... terracotta...'

I asked if she knew which animal it was?

'I don't know if it's a fox or a dog... looks like a collection... squirrel nutkin and the wise owl'

131st Sitting 28/02/2017


We had the room setup as usual.

I did the opening prayer at 7.20pm, turned out the light and put the music on.

We did the Rainbow Bridge visualisation exercise...

Liz started off with multicoloured tulips growing either side of her. It was as if she was going backwards through them on a canal boat laying on her back. It gave her a sense of being in Holland. She saw a penetrating blue sky above her and then it was as if a silk rope was dangling down, urging her to climb up it and Liz found herself climbing this cream, white, silk rope up into the clouds. She then found herself lying above the clouds and there were also layers of clouds above her with rainbows of light coming through them. In the blue sky Liz saw a glass escalator and found herself going up it. When she got to the end she was back with the tulips and wondered what the significance was with these tulips so she paused and let the tulips speak to her. She was aware of the connection with Holland and the book 'The Black Tulip' As Liz looked into a tulip it had this black eye in the centre. She thought why would somebody want to create a black flower and was aware that all the light around her was going into this blackness and saw how a black flower absorbs all this radiation and became aware of the significance of this. When all the colours are absorbed then you have black, this denseness and the dense creatures on the Earth were all absorbing all this light so that we became almost negative, completely concentrated and heavy. Then Liz realised that all that light was in the body and it now needed to radiate out. All the creatures and flowers of the Earth were radiating this light outwards from this dense state of the Earth having become an absorbing lump of rock. Our role on the Earth was to begin to radiate out this light that was concentrated inwards in the density of out bone structure. We were black but we were rainbow people...

I saw what looked like a man in a wheelchair but he was shining and transparent as if made out of glass. He started to move away from me and I felt I was connected to him somehow as I got pulled along behind him into a wooded area and as we went through the trees many more people joined us also being pulled along. We came to an opening in the trees where there was a huge round pond and the man in the wheelchair continued into the middle of it, floating on the water, while the rest of us spread out around the outside of the pond. I then noticed that everybody including myself were dressed as sailors in white. As we watched the man seemed to melt into the water and became a long shaft of bright white light coming out of the water and then what looked like a church tower or steeple began rising out of the water with the shaft of light like a spire on top. As it came up the water level dropped until there was no water just dry sand with this church steeple in the centre. We all then ran across the sand picking up handfuls and throwing it over ourselves as we made our way to the tower and through the doors and inside where it was pitch black and then we were all floating. Then the spire came down into the steeple and we all became pulled towards it and were absorbed into it as we all became this light in the darkness... 

I put the music back on and we continued the session.

Liz had a strong sense of an elephant.

The front of my legs felt cold.
It started to look light and misty then became blobby in the room to me.
I got a brief image of a man with dark longish hair and a polar neck shirt looking very 1960s.

Liz got an image of beatles and it made her think of the pop group, she thought maybe George Harrison was with her. She also got images of lions and circus animals.

Liz continued...

'I've got an image of a key board, black and white, ebony and ivory. Drums come to mind'

'I'm being shown children's books, thought it was Kenneth Grahame's 'Wind in the Willows' might have been 'The Piper at the Gates of Dawn''

'Keep getting all these animals, lion with it's long tail, black panther, exotic birds'

'Just have the words I received a long time ago... 'The Earth is a roosting place for the most marvelous birds' and it's true, every creature is miraculous, and the rainbow magic, the magical mystery tour'

'I see the paradox of trying to fit it all into a zoo, behind bars. We've imprisoned a magical thing, a mythical thing, imprisoned it in a cage, tamed a free beast, tried to subdue that what was alive and holy and miraculous, submerged and repressed. It needs to break free like the parrots that have freed themselves and are breeding in the wild parks of London'

'I see these two bookends carved in ebony and between them is a rainbow and a strong sense of electrical current passing between these bookends. The bookends are African. The books have disappeared and in their place is this electrical current creating rainbows which seems to represent inner knowing, the rainbow of the kundalini, a knowledge of the inner planes, authentic knowledge, not book learning'
