This group began sitting in July 2013 as an experiment using the 'Basic Guide' published by the 'Scole Experimental Group' in 1996.

We've changed the way we sit over the years. I am continuing to develop trance mediumship and Liz gives a mixture of evidential clairvoyance, inspired speaking and trance...

Our intentions are to receive information that will help us understand the bigger picture, why we are here, what happens when we die, the mechanics of mediumship and how we can help in raising the quality of consciousness...

139th Sitting 07/06/2017

We had the room setup as usual.

I did the opening prayer at 8.00pm, turned off the light and put the music on.

We did the Rainbow Bridge visualisation exercise...

Liz started off sitting on a red tiled doorstep looking out into a garden with an amazing water fountain like a wedding cake in three tiers. Liz then became the water of the fountain and had a connection with water everywhere. She could feel the seas of the Earth, the water in the tree's roots and the rain. Her perception extended beyond the Earth into meteors, blocks of ice swimming in space, and the water on planets and moons. It was the water that connected all things. Liz experienced the water in all living things, in herself and in others. It was as if in being the water she then became everything that was created. Liz then became part of a line of dancers which formed into an expanding ring. Each new movement was past round the ring looking like a kaleidoscope. Each movement created a new scenario, the Garden of Eden, all the animals of the Earth. It reminded Liz of the bible, God created this and then created that and so on. Each movement seemed to be recorded like there was a memory, they were all still there, every movement had a pattern that became incredibly complex. The whole world came into being through this sequential dance which carried on and on and carried on being built upon...

I started off standing at the back of a church looking up the aisle towards the alter at the other end of the church. I got the feeling it didn't end at the alter, there was more after that and then I started to see something happening beyond the alter and as I watched I found myself a part of it. It was a wonderfully bright colourful scene with happy smiling people everywhere. Some were flying around with wings like angels. It reminded me of a colourful stained glass window with the sun shining through it. I asked one of the people what this place was and they said it was a place free of fears and full of love. It was attached to this church and had been for 100s of years and it was their job to try and get this happy feeling across to the people who went to the church. There was too much fear in the teachings of the church making it a very dark cold place at times and they tried to make people see the more loving aspects of their religion, lift their spirits and get rid of their fears. I asked how do we get rid of fear and he said it was a case of not worrying about future events as they don't exist, just live in the moment, be happy, don't allow negativity to affect you and eventually you will see how the world for you becomes a much more harmonious place. This may take a lifetime or many lifetimes to achieve but that doesn't matter as long as you keep working at losing your fears...

I put the music back on and we continued our session...

Liz... 'I've got a holly... I think it's a name... Something sequestered near an oak'

Just over a week ago Liz had twice received an image of a blank writing pad and she got the day Wednesday. She took this to mean she should sit to develop automatic writing on Wednesdays. This week we were sitting on a Wednesday instead of our usual Tuesday and Liz felt a pain in the muscles of her right forearm. It felt like her muscles were being manipulated making her hand move and we realised we should have brought a pen and writing pad into the room.
Next week when we sit we will have a pen and pad ready and see what happens.

Liz had a sense of a gold star and a team effort. She felt that the writing had been her modus operandi since she was born.

Liz felt her grandfather was with her.

Liz continued...

'Got a sense of a railway carriage or a boat... got the word valediction and fenetre, window of opportunity'

'Just got an image of someone who looked like Bernard Bresslaw but not as tall looking down a microscope'

'Got the word Mars'

'There's a large group of scientists'

'Got the name Charlie... Uncle Charlie'

'Got an image of a violin, the strings are tightly tuned, I think that's a metaphor for highly strung'

'Santa Claus'

'Umbrella, Mary Poppins'

'Godzilla... an elephant'

'Got this sense of all the rituals and traditions and all the spiritual endeavours. The essence of it, like it's being poured into us, we carry it all, the inner meaning of it. The outward paraphernalia passes as many forms but the inner meaning of it. There's so many festivals, traditions, rituals but the underlying significance is the spiritual connection that's connecting to spirit, connecting to the universal love of the living God, the living God within, within and without are the same. We are the recipients, the vessels of this liqueur that's being poured into us. It's like we've tasted ambrosia, the nectar of the gods, it's the distillation of age old wisdom past down through the ages, still practised, still there and it crystallises in various places and people and groups. It takes on its individual form or flavour and it has to be kept going, it can't help itself, it just automatically does keep going because it's intrinsic, a little bit like sap in a tree it exudes at certain times of the year throughout the life of the tree. The sap is always there but the beads of sap exude and make manifest. The inner sap trickles down the trunk of the tree to be tapped by those who are thirsty for nectar, the sweet juice of truth. We're being the exudate now, that's our function to exude the hematic wisdom. It's the universal truth, truths, one of many'

'You can't tell a cat by its colour. In the twilight and dark all cats look the same colour but we shine the bright light, focus the light on the cat and it will assume a colour, ginger, black, white but the essence of cat is without colour, is all colours. We are looking at the essence, the colour is merely a temporary projection. A true cat is all colours shapes and sizes. We call it a cat family. So it is with people, a human family, all shapes, colours and sizes. You can't tell a human by its colour, the human essence is without colour, without shape, without size. We talk of the prototype, the archetype and that is evolving. We can shape that, we can shape humanity, refine, the archetype is evolving but it has to feed on the exudate and the nectar of the gods. The spiritual nectar feeds that archetype until that human becomes divine. We talk of the divine human. When Jesus said I and my father are one that's what he meant'

'I see such a community of beings, of people we know we are connected to, so many people we can't even bring them to mind. It's hilarious really... the multitude, many we know and they are all connected'

'Johnathon... Easteemore... butterflies... olive trees...'

'A lot of images keep coming to do with the family, a large family and the sense of the importance of this larger family unit. Seems to extend into the past and into the future but it's a community and seems to be important. A cradle for development but it's a very extended family, not just the nucular family, a large network... Dorothy is emphasising this'

'I have an image of somebody in a toboggan in the snow, half buried, being pulled out'

'Buttercups'

Liz said thank you to everyone and asked me to play a tune.

I then did the healing exercise, closing prayer and our closing down exercise...
