This group began sitting in July 2013 as an experiment using the 'Basic Guide' published by the 'Scole Experimental Group' in 1996.

We've changed the way we sit over the years. I am continuing to develop trance mediumship and Liz gives a mixture of evidential clairvoyance, inspired speaking and trance...

Our intentions are to receive information that will help us understand the bigger picture, why we are here, what happens when we die, the mechanics of mediumship and how we can help in raising the quality of consciousness...

There were a couple of changes to the way we sit this week.
We decided to play a longer tune during our Rainbow Bridge Exercise and do the opening prayer before this.
Otherwise all was as before.

I did the opening prayer at 8.30pm.
Then we started our Rainbow Bridge Exercise…

Liz found herself in deep powdery snow, crystalline snow full of rainbows and very cold. In the distance was a large steaming lake, a hot spring and Liz saw a series of little white wooden bridges like stepping stones from island to island. She felt she wanted to get there as she could see light and swam in the warm water to a bridge where she found lots of Tibetan ladies who helped her up onto it. They were all friendly like sisters and wrapped Liz in a fluffy towel, sat her in a yak and took her to the city through the mists. Liz saw a golden dome and spires like a temple and she was taken into a courtyard where there was a pillar in the middle with a fire in it. The fire was a flame in the heart of a large blue lotus and coming out of it was the figure of the Green Tara. She stepped down and came with Liz and the ladies into the temple. The temple was full of crystals giving out light and rainbows. In the middle was an enormous round crystal and everybody was waiting for something to happen. Then the sun hit this crystal at a particular moment of sunrise and a wonderful white light radiated bathing everyone in it, a most wonderful experience of unity. They told Liz her lesson was that this light was in everything and that we are all one. Behind all phenomena, which is the painting is this incredible light, which is the blank canvas, out of which all comes and that light is still shining through every single moment. Every moment of your life is valuable, is essential and that essential life is in every single phenomena and every moment. It’s like we are getting back to the blank canvas but through all phenomena the incredible whiteness and blackness of this original blank canvas, the origin is shining through and that is the power. All phenomena is diluted in it, it’s weaker and it’s hard for us to take the full strength but just to be aware that locked into every moment and every phenomena, every little blade of grass we meet is the brilliance of this light shining from the blank canvas, the origin before it was painted… Liz then returned on a blue butterfly…

I started off walking down a long corridor in a school passing classrooms. I kept going and eventually came to a door that led outside to a grassy area. It was bright sunny and warm as I walked down towards a river full of boats and people enjoying the day in a party atmosphere, a bit like Henley Regatta. I asked somebody where the bridge was and they pointed to it in the distance but didn’t advise going over it as it was in a bad state of repair. I decided to chance it and they wished me good luck. As I crossed the bridge I noticed small people, maybe elementals, were repairing it and the further I got the better the bridge looked until eventually it was looking like a new bridge. Reaching the other side I stepped onto a pathway and noticed blobs of blue light everywhere. I got the feeling I was in ancient Greece and saw a huge building with marble pillars in front of me while either side of the path were men lounging around eating grapes. I felt that inside the building was a Greek philosopher and I wanted to meet him so entered through the front door, went up a stairway and found a man surrounded by books and notes sitting at a desk in a room. He looked up at me and explained that what he was doing, thinking about and discovering was no different to what our group and others are doing now. Nothing has changed as people have been exploring the larger reality and communication with non-physical entities since time began and it will continue…

When Liz and I compared notes it seemed we’d both had similar experiences. Liz had met women and I had met men but we both had received a message of an underlying truth or power which has been with us all throughout history…

I then restarted the music CD from the beginning…

I got the sensation of light behind me and coming round my sides.
Then I saw green and yellow blobs in front of me and a few black shadows moving past.

Liz had a tickle in her hair.

The atmosphere suddenly went completely blank in front of me, like a blank canvas.

Liz got the impression of looking down at reflections in water.
Then she felt there was a huge Spanish galleon with guns down the sides to her right and to her left the sea with a small boat on it. She felt a lot of people about.
The scene then juxtaposed with the Redoubt Fortress in Eastbourne.  

I was getting very cold to my right and could see a glowing white light there.

Liz was seeing an orange light in the room.

I sensed movement going from my right to left.
It was like I was in a windy storm with debris flying past but I couldn’t feel it physically.

Liz got the name Michael, the sense of a yard sweeper and a feeling of a hearse, a funeral cortege. An old fashioned car or carriage.
She then got crispy bacon.
And then peg leg.

Both of my arms went cold.
I felt a tickle on the back and left side of my neck.
Then a fuzzy feeling on the back of my head and tickles on my upper lip.

Liz felt she was in a corrugated underground shelter, during the war, it had an earthy smell.

Liz kept seeing green/turquoise colours like what you get on a magpies wing, or dragonfly, or blue bottle, or kingfisher, or peacock… iridescent flash of emerald…

Liz continued…

‘A peacock’s feather, wisdom, those colours of wisdom and a flash of emerald… I think it’s locked into matter again, this incredible wisdom, it’s there in the dense darkness of the material man. Even in the dugouts of war there’s the reflection in the puddle, passing glory, bat’s wing, bird’s wing, butterfly wing, dragonfly wing, this gleam. It’s the colours of the Green Tara, the blue and green, this earth wisdom, this reflection, it’s the reminder… The passing beauty glints and gleams, it’s to remind, to remember that these are the links, they’re like keys, you turn it and it opens, it’s Pandora’s box, the jewels, the seven jewels, it’s a trigger these little gems that in the everyday appear but they are triggers to deeper truths and everyone will open to link to the original blank canvas..’

‘Hawk… Hawkeye, he’s just observing, there to have an overview, scan from a perspective, a higher perspective but the civilizations come and go, it’s the blink of an eye. From the ground it seems slow, get caught up in the present and temporal, it’s not important, a lot of what happens is gone in a blink… It’s food for the gods, the taste, send it up, what we’ve managed to distil from this murky perspective, the denseness of matter, the locked in state, to unlock the jewel so it has a special flavour, the iridescence when it is released that’s what you take back, that’s what is important. It’s very small, most of it is trash, it’s like the nugget, the goodness from the food we eat, small compared to the dross waste that goes out but it’s that that’s transmuted, that’s distilled through the human consciousness, that’s returned. It has this flash, this iridescence that becomes part of the painting, that’s recorded…’

‘That’s what is the important work of a lifetime, to distil the quintessential, the essence what is the root of every experience and to stir it into the stew. Proof of God, so each individual acts like a diamond, a prism focusing and then distilling and dispersing clear radiant colours, the finer detail, the essential nature is reflected back… it takes a new gleam, the whole desire, reflections of reflections of reflections… It’s another way of putting it, it’s the fine tuning, as the energy gets dispersed into denser and denser pools at each level, the clear note, the original note must be found. That’s the link, that’s the thread; draw the whole web back inwards into itself, Indra’s Net… When you’re lost in the dark it’s an agony to get back to the origin, to the light, it means finding that thread, that nerve, that connection which is the portal, then the darkness becomes light…’

‘He’s from a higher perspective; it’s just a gigantic and wonderful experiment… I just get a sense now of seeing through a myriad of forms, through snakes, swaying head, giraffe, the fruits on the bush, through perception, through all those myriad eruptions, different ways of being, seeing, the experience is mind boggling, a higher level…’

‘As a created being it’s almost impossible to perceive the levels of the creator beyond the whole because of our confines. To break through into the vision, into the mind, the being of the whole, just a glimpse, it is so enormous that as a created being we can only be in awe of the magnificence…’

The music had ended and Liz then did the healing exercise, closing prayer and our closing down exercise.

As Liz was building up the healing energies it looked to me like grass was growing in the room then hundreds of wild flowers like we were sitting in a meadow…
